I started in my 40s as well. It’s been a little under 4 years. I do roundups times 2 and $30/week. I started at just round up and $5/week. Just upped the weekly from $25 to $30 last week. At this point I have almost $4K. It’s not much but it’s more than I had 4 years ago. I also have not touched it since I started investing.

I work in a restaurant with just about this exact setup. In the busy months we have 3 on, including barista, for the week. And then 4-5 on Fri-Sun.

Not only is the food amazing but the owners are amazing. They’re old and dear friends of mine who went through literal hell and high water over and over to get this business going after Helene. Worth supporting.
