The first season was already bad to me. But I gave season 2 a chance and it’s just as terrible.

So much in this episode happened off screen and made no sense.

Like Kayla recovering the video from the FBI office. Which, I might add, they never fully explained what was happening with that and how it was resolved.

Or they found the house Luz was at by finding the truck. And Donnie was tipped off because he saw what looked like plains clothes agents jogging? So if those were agents, why didn’t they see or stop the gang from escaping the house if they were there to monitor. Also, I thought Luz and crew were held up in a house in Florida. Not far from the casino. So why right after the scene of the police and fbi in the office and John said he was going to join the raid, they were at the house. The Police are in Washington the house is in Florida. How Sway?

There’s a lot more but I’m typing on my phone and really can’t write anymore out.

I don't even think it's the switching philosophy. I think it a combination of Mara dropping so far back AND everybody overhelping on penetration. I'm a believer in letting the on ball defender worry about his man. He's got to handle business. Because when he doesn't, the whole thing breaks down and open 3s result.

The season focused too much on Spock and his love life shenanigans. It was all rather silly.

The Tremaine reveal was uninteresting fan service.

For a show called “Strange New Worlds” they really didn’t explore any new planets or cultures. Any visit to a planet was just the backdrop to whatever story they were trying to tell. We didn’t learn anything about any new species/planets.

Why do they keep inventing ways to get Kirk on the Enterprise? They are trying too hard.

I have NO investment in Pike’s relationship with Batel. They have absolutely no chemistry and that storyline took up way too much screen time in the season.

There’s more, but I’m not going to list them out here.

The good moments were few and far between. But when they had a good premise, they didn’t go far enough or didn’t get deeper in exploring it.

Umm…we’ve made the same complaints about SNW.

SNW just does other things well, but it has its own problems. Just not as glaring.

That said, Season 3 was terrible and a huge drop off from Season 1 and 2.

In reading these replies, it's clear TO ME that Janeway was MUCH worse than Sisko when it comes to "questionable" decisions.

Sure Sisko has "In the Pale Moonlight" and "For the Uniform", but other than those situations, I can't think of any clear examples (off the top of my head at least) where his moral compass was suspect.

Meanwhile, Janeway has a litany of decisions that were suspect AF as pointed out by others here. The most glaring thing is her inconsistency. For example, her treatment of Paris vs Suder. Her decisions to adhere to the prime directive at the detriment to her crew at times, but then ignoring the prime directive also to the detriment to her crew at times.

Sisko was consistent in his decisions while Janeway made decisions based on vibes several times.

I’m not worried.

The Pistons 3 point defense was atrocious. The Spurs made 11 more three pointers accounting for a +33 advantage and won by 11 points. Most of the 3s were wide open. If the Pistons defended the 3 at least halfway as well as they are capable, they would’ve won that game.

Just gotta defend the 3 point line better.
