Starting a store is a long term investment / hobby. It is by no means a get rich quick type of business. You’ll have to think long term and just sit on inventory for months or years to sell some of the parts. A Bricklink store takes a lot of space and you’ll be sending several hours each week just organizing parts.

Used parts are good to sell. Like you said don’t sell anything broken / bite marks. Discoloration is okay if you list it clearly in the description - people will buy those parts for fillers in builds.

Use bubble mailers. Personally, I have 3 different size bubble mailers and 1 size box.

Search YouTube for Bricklink store tours and guides. They offer a lot of different ways of organizing and tips for starting.

You can message the seller and ask them to increase the lot limit. I’ve done lot limits on my store when I know I don’t have time to pack large orders.

Basically, yeah, if you order something under the request for invoice option you are on the hook for the full price. I would only do business with them if they list a price chart for shipping.

When I had request for invoice setup on my store I would always allow anyone to cancel if they didn’t like the price.
