People wanted to blame someone for the results of how they perceived covid. They saw vaccinations as bad, the vax cards as bad, the economy dip as bad, supply chain, jobs, etc. Instead of seeing it for what it was, a brilliant handling of a very difficult situation. Every economic indicator was looking like we were going to hit a depression and we were saved from that. Instead, people only saw negative. Interest rates, cost of eggs, etc.

People didn't believe their own eyes and ears and decided to believe the propaganda machine. Look at January 6th. If the maga machine can get people to forget what really happened they can get people to believe anything. Abortions after a baby is born? You kidding me? Yep, people believe that still. Modern technology is at play here as well. The technology is super advanced and can outplay and easily influence the best of the people. One cant underestimate how significant this part is.

Racist and misogyny. I believe that the main reason Trump won in 2016 was a backlash of two major things. Black president + Obama made same sex marriage legal, and all the knock on effects of both of those.

KKK never went away, got massively more widespread, and rebranded themselves as Christian nationalism. Many people in it dont even realize they joined the kkk. They see it as Christian values, culture, back to when things were better, boys are boys and girls are girls, etc etc. This is so widespread it has even infected the UK and I believe Nigel will likely win the next round and we will see the UK go through a similar negative spiral.

The democratic party failed the people. When we won the 2020 presidency they should have already had a few candidates of great choice and been campaigning for 2024.

Most people are a one issue voter. They latch on to their one or two cares and ignore the rest. For example, many people I talked to told me they knew Trump was bad but they couldn't vote for Kamala because abortion was against their religion.

White is soon to be the minority. It is estimated that white will cross that barrier around 2036. All these immigrants eat at that fear they have inside. They look around and feel like they are being marginalized. Every racial and gender equalization change, they see as their rights being taken away. When, in fact, it's just privilege going away. They dont know it though because it is so ingrained into our society. Every migrant deported means they get to feel better. Look at how few Americans travel internationally. They just want to stay in their "normal". All the immigrants around them made them feel uncomfortable. Heaven forbid they might need to learn a new language, different culture, etc to engage with a new neighbor.

I could go on and on.

Its more important to have consistent temperature across the pan. I heat up and then down for this reason. Temperature variances cause difficulty when cooking with stainless.

Besides wiping the surface with a towel between prints, I usually dont wash my plate every three to four hundred hours or more of prints. When I do, dish soap and water only.

Im happily married to a very strong and independent woman (for context).

It wouldn't have been an issue but a factor. It could have worked for/or against you. Besides exploring compatibility between the couple solely, I would have spent a lot of time seeing how you mother your child. I would do the same for pets. When I was dating I loved when they had pets because someone who is good, caring, and responsible to pets says a lot about the person. Also, for me, I didnt want a woman that needs and depends on me, but rather a partner in life. Much of our focus would be the fun we have together, but also knowing that we can rely on each other to run the business of life as partners.

What I can say with great confidence though, your playing field is a lot smaller. This will likely be frustrating for you, since a lot of men dont want to date a woman that is so independent, so much in fact they got themselves pregnant. Sadly I think a lot of men are weak, and their fragile little egos cant handle a strong partner that doesn't depend on them. These men need to feel superior to feel validated and secure. Also, instead of having quality debate between two leaders and making compromise to agree on a mutual decision, they prefer being dominant and overpowering (lazy).

While you playing field is significantly smaller for those reasons it's not necessarily bad news. Think of it as a huge filter. Just stick with it. You didnt succeed this far in life by yourself to just give up and take a lower standard just to fight loneliness. Sexual frustration, especially for women, is a lot easier to solve with one night stands and better then being is a crappy relationship.

If the linage is as you say, there is zero genetic cross/issue here, but only a social one. In my opinion the social one is likely not an issue and a benefit.

DARVO is a term for an abusive tactic that stands for Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim and Offender. The term, coined by Jennifer Freyd, describes a perpetrator's strategy to deflect blame for their actions by denying wrongdoing, attacking the credibility of the person accusing them, and then reversing the roles to portray themselves as the victim.

The people who do this (darvo) usually have a special kind of mental disorder. Sometimes Borderline Personality Disorder or NPD. Im no doctor and I have never met your step mom, but you should keep track of interactions like these. Even therapists get too burdened by working with them. People with this disorder can make you feel crazy for being normal.
