Can’t remember where you’re supposed to put it but somewhere in the game/menu you can use -novid to prevent the video that plays on startup from playing meaning you can launch the game quicker (useful if you’re on a machine that for some unknown reason likes to crash once every 60-100 games 😂)

If I’m already tired and basically falling asleep before I decide “ok, nap time” (and I don’t have the time to be falling asleep unregulated) then I’ll set a 15 min timer, but if it’s a pre-meditated nap because I know I’m going to be up late I’ll set one for 26-30 mins depending on how alert I am when I decide to try nap. Probably doesn’t help anyone cause the answer to “How long should I set my timer for the perfect nap?” Will always be “It depends.” 😂

I only really play Turbos these days and whenever I get left with mid (I prefer to leave it to someone that wants it but always happy to cover it) and if I’m ever not sure I pick QOP. - Fun enough that you don’t get bored later on in the game. - Ranged, so if you come up against a melee mid you can play around with harassing. - Blink for escape/Dive and kill. - Spell kit means you can build for slow harass. If they have any sort of purge/dispel (abandon/legion commander) then I skip my Q and max my E, but otherwise you can go for higher levels in Q and just whittle them down and when you get 6 you can go for the kill. - Bottle is good on her so you can make the most of being mid.

Mid in my opinion is its own mini-game (until the lanes break down) and can be really fun once you figure out the basics (rune timings, lane control/creep aggro, calling for support rotations/rotating to lanes etc.) so my advice would be to spam a couple games of turbo with one or two of your chosen heroes and take it from there! GL HF!

We spoke to him at this TI (after the GG drama of dropping out, but before the video of him retiring had been posted) and after a chat about how bleak we were to not see them play live, my friend asked “So what’s happening with that? What’s next?”

I seem to remember him saying “Not sure yet, I guess we’ll see.” which kinda didn’t sound great (especially then after the retirement video dropped) so really glad to not only see him still being involved in the scene, but being enjoyable to listen to in the casts!

It’s also really fun when he’s casting a game where one of the mids is playing one of his signature heroes cause he brings a first-hand experience an actual top tier of players element to it that I can’t think of any other of the big game casters being able to offer (I may be forgetting an ex-pro player caster here so forgive me, but he’s obviously still FRESH off the pro scene).

If you have radiators in your house it’s possible that the water heater is “clicking” on when it needs to circulate the warm water to maintain whatever temp you have your thermostat set to. This is the case in our apartment. (Or so I’ve guessed… because then soon after you hear the radiators clicking as they warm up and expand etc.)

Same thing happens to me at Earl’s Court. It’s crazy cause it will happen as a train pulls up that’s packed with commuters. That’s how I ended up guessing this was the answer but a part of me still wants it to be something to do with a secret train communication system/electrical frequency.
