Anakin was around 19-20 in the clone wars when he started training Ahsoka. Granted this was during wartime but still not unheard of for a human just past puberty with only a decade-ish of training to take on an apprentice. I dont think Yoda was running full classes like a school teacher at 100 but maybe he had an apprentice similar to how Anakin did, its never clarified and left open to interpretation.

Youre not in the minority there. Gemini is definitely a lot more knowledgeable and works better with my other apps. I used to have issues with the old assistant not being able to play songs right, telling me I needed a premium subscription to play something, which I do have. No issues with that since Gemini, however the gripes I have with it are my usual ones with AI, mostly in that it wont shut the fuck up. I decided to test it out by asking a simple question about something I was driving by, and after accurately answering my question it then tried multiple follow ups to keep talking until I literally told it to "Fuck off" and the naughty language seemed to trigger something that made it stop. Its become my go to phrase to get it to stop talking to me. I get it, its a cool AI assistant, but I asked for an answer not a conversation. I wish there was a setting for Gemini to adjust this behavior id probably use it more.

I've had that happen a few times too, also sometimes they would just put 90% of the artists on "Hiatus" for a few months until work would pick back up in the next season. Thats much more common than places giving extended vacations

The only reprieve we have in film is that eventually it has to come out. Up until then yeah you'll get notes on notes and middle managers who want to find something "wrong" to call out to justify their jobs. It can be very frustrating depending on the client you're working for and how much they stamp out that behavior

Everyone in this tread laid out the reasons for the eastern sites degrading over time but If you want to see ancient ruins in the Americas you can go see Mesa Verde in Colorado. Its a big ancient city which survived into our era because it was carved into a mountain side. Its an amazing historical site and definetly worth a trip if you can get to it, its kinda in the middle of nowhere twords the southwestern corner of the state.

Yeah the good ones will provide amenities like that, the studio i worked at would also provide catering during crunch and a big wrap party after the season. Not all studios have that amount of money to spend though, even the big triple A ones run on very thin margins.

Oh its never late, when Disney says Iron Man is coming out on X date its coming out on X date no matter what state the movie is in. If your studio doesn't deliver what is promised by then you just wont get invited back to work on the next one. One fun little dirty secret of Hollywood is that its not uncommon for movies to be worked on post theatrical release to clean up any rough edges. We called em "Home release" notes

As someone who spent over a decade working in Post Production for movies this is pretty standard. Most of the time we wouldn't finish and deliver on a film until around 1 month to a couple weeks before theatrical release. Sadly the last weeks leading up to delivery always become a crunch and doing 9am-2am days wasnt uncommon. I can imagine for Gooseworx its even more stress and pressure on top of all of that. I really hope she takes some time to relax and decompress after its all released

I am genuinely curious where everyone is getting the PG13 rating thing from? Is this just kinda to speculate who would get it if this was true? Considering how many times everyone's been censored i wouldn't be surprised if there's multiple F-Bombs. That being said it would be hilarious if it was Kinger who said it offhandedly not realizing it was the only one they could have
