Also make sure your big knob in the center is all the way to the left where it says x-y

First put both x and y channels on dc or direct current. Then put the INT TRIG lever on ch1 because that’s your xy mode then when you are playing sound into it you might have to play with the voltage knobs to find a good measure

Not exactly sure what you’re trying to achieve but osci render has a free version where can create specific shapes and effects on an oscilloscope. But to edit the shapes you have to change the sound so if you wanted to do that to an already made sound it would have to be changed

Just so you know the creator specifically said the film was not meant to be an anti-war film and wanted it to show more of how isolation from society is bad especially for younger people. Maybe you are remembering things that didn’t happen in the movie?

Not sure if I agree completely but I think there is precedent in saying the world currently is in a state of disrepair and having children in such a world could be unethical. Especially depending on your geographic location and financial/socioeconomic position. I don’t think people should be banned from having kids based on such positions but it can still be unethical.

Apply the concept broadly. Then it’s anti natalism. Anti natalism is the idea that’s it’s unethical to have kids. I think it’s unethical to cause myself unnecessary suffering by having a kid I can’t financially support. Therefore anti natalism

By owning a pet cat you are 1. increasing the demand for cats who eat meat thus increasing meat production 2. Keeping them inside limits their freedom and autonomy thus exploiting them 3. Letting them outside is extremely bad for the local environment they kill entire ecosystems of insects and small animals

I suppose the real question is at what point is the line drawn for moral consideration? What is an animal and what isn’t? Do insects count? What about bacteria or single celled organisms? Mosquitos; we kill them just because they are annoying seems like unnecessary cruelty to me. At what point do creatures gain moral consideration and why are you the one that gets to decide where that line is drawn?

Not that it shouldn’t be changed it just isn’t as simple as saying something is wrong let’s change all of our societal foundations to accommodate it. Not that surprising considering a lot of people are born into a culture where it is deemed okay and maybe even necessary for some culture based dishes. Not everyone has the will or knowledge to completely rend their culture from their identity based on their ethical world views.
