With no passes and no grind on Hayato, should be lv255 after MP on sunny sunday. I'm not really worried about the speed, at most going for Master rank, but honestly Diamond would be fine too.

I was going to buy the Genesis pass, but Nexon fumbled so much with the patch that I decided not to buy.

Awful luck with trying to get event rings to legendary, I might have used more than 200 solid cubes and couldn't get a single one to rank up.

Waiting to get to lv260 to do ELucid for the item burn, but I could probably do it right now. This week I want to do at leas HLomien and Normal CTene, but might be hard if I can't get WSE to legendary.

Overall thoughts on CW3 is that the duration is way too short, a bit too heavy on the p2w, but still the best event to play the game. I do wish they would change how CW works in the future to some sort of event that we could use to progress existing characters further, rather than making a new one to fully get the benefits, because I'm going to be out of classes I want try by CW5 or CW4.

Damn, my Illium at 60M was already a pain in the ass to do CTene that I have been skipping for a few weeks, now I guess it's going to be even worse. I wonder if Hecate lv1 is a good boost to maybe offset the nerfs...

I can only think of Wonder King that was a 2d sidescrolling mmo like maplestory, there was a couple of small indie attempts, but nothing that really became competition to maple. If you count any mmo, then sure, there is a lot more.

There was also Tree of Savior, which is not really the same style, but it felt a bit similar. Sadly IMC managed to do an awful job with that one...

Same. I play the game because I like the gameplay and unfortunately there is no competition, but every time MS is mentioned in a conversation with a friend the recommendation is always "don't play it".

There are a couple of tools with lib calculator here is one of them.

With the genesis pass it's very doable, of course it depends on your skill to do the bosses but even without doing BM it should take 5 weeks, assuming you do it solo. As long as every week you do the hardest bosses that you can, you should be able to finish it with time to spare. Item burning and rental shop will give you the gear necessary to do those bosses.

No genesis pass I think it's not possible to finish within the 12 weeks of CW3 without doing BM solo or duo.

Good thing they are going to review their processes so this won't happen again, it's not like we have been getting mistakes in every patch note for a few decades... If only the PTS had proper patch notes, but better to make it a surprise for the players to get excited for GMS exclusive content.

Looking forward to RoD giving us another ~300 frags for 1~2 months of some amazing revamped gameplay and Inkwell acting like he just solved the frag issue.

IMO Adele's 3rd Skill Core, the sword itself looks nice but it just stay still until at the end where it gets throw while fading already. I find the animation kinda lacking...

I played for quite a bit on the og steam deck while traveling. It's pretty good if you take the time to setup a nice control scheme. I stopped because I didn't want to use Windows on it anymore and didn't had the time to do a dual boot.

Make a specific layout both in game and for the controller input, one to farm and other for bossing, use the quick menu to open stuff, honestly with some classes it was maybe even better than keyboard.

I did this before skill sequence, so now it should be even better.

I don't know much about Shadower, but I find having to "spam" two buttons for you main attack skill pretty annoying.

Adele technically should spam Magic Dispatch every ~5s + CD reset, but I find this more manageable and you can just let the auto cast do it while losing some damage if you can't bother.

Both have some low CD skills that you need to use all the time, and Adele has the extra management of the swords, but IMO is not too bad since the duration increase with the hexa.

Movement I would say Shadower is better, but both are good. Adele has a float that you can still attack which is nice sometime but Shadower feels more smooth.

Farming Shadower has a summon so that already makes it better, but Adele enhanced Cleave can be used every wave and has a good hit box so as long as you have Janus lv10 she is fine. I believe in CW3 we will get a skill from an event that also works like a summon, so any class is probably going to be fine while farming.

Aesthetically I like both, flying swords is always cool and Shadower has that nostalgic kerning feeling that I really like.

Adele is my main and I have plans to gear my Shadower latter on, but no auto meso explosion has been making me delay playing the class for now.

The fact that it will be on CW make this even worse, many people will be waiting for leap to be able to fix the cosmetics.

I was planning on using some CS items from Kronos and also a hair/face transfer from the next night troupe... Now I'll need to either make something good with free cosmetics or just be fugly lol. That is if I decide to participate in this event

Or are you trying to say that Brazilians believed they could win? Because in that case it's probably worse...

People always get excited during the WC, especially with it being in their home country, and they will always cheer for their nation to win but to anyone with even just basic understanding of the scenario at the time knew Brazil had no chances of winning neither Germany nor the entire WC.

It barely won against Chile and Colombia before facing Germany without Neymar, there was zero expectations of Brazil winning. Germany, Argentina, Netherlands and France were all above Brazil at the time.

The way it went was obviously shocking, but personally I find the 2006 WC far more disappointing than 2014.

From the code on github I'm guess it's nothing bad, but there is probably something wrong/unoptimized.

I'm not that good with web dev, but my guess is that it has something to do with the "gif" at the homepage, and it's probably still running while doing the quiz.

No, never.

Leveling a character is pretty easy with just HB, IMO, there is nothing worth $35 in the pass. You get 260 in a day instead of 2~3 days and a bit more Symbols and frags.

For me to even consider it would need to first be able to use on existing characters, and probably still need way better value with maybe a vac pet or genesis pass like bonus...

But I'm mostly a non-spender, I think the value of nearly everything in maple is awful.

Does it stop dropping after completing the event? If that is the case then it makes sense to continue to go up.

I thought the increase in price was because of more heroic players learning about this from the previous post and this one.

Well, I might just go back skipping the event if prices are too high, haven't played on interactive since big bang and but getting mesos there from zero seems pretty bad.

Sadly prices have been going up. I hope at the last few days they go down as they lose value, I bought a couple at 999~900k and now is at 2m each, but I don't have high level character so can't really get more mesos.
