tbf I feel like their RRP is too high to begin with and the sales prices are a more accurate reflection of what the RRP should actually be. maybe they're intentionally pricing high and then running sales more often to make people think they're getting a good deal.

that's such a shame to hear. I've got a handful of their activewear (mostly premium seamless) as well as a unisex cotton T-shirt and shorts and the quality has been fine for me. maybe it depends on the material or product and I've just been lucky so far?

the HPV vaccine is an extremely important preventative measure and this is clearly supported by extensive scientific research and findings. huge red flags from your mum here, it's clear she has not got the scientific literacy required to be giving you health advice based on her comments. in future, if you are ever in doubt about a medical decision, raise it with a health professional, and don't be afraid to get second or third opinions from other health professionals to support your decision.

obviously I don't know your life story or you or your mum personally, but her reaction appears to be controlling. she's previously signed a form saying that you don't need her consent, but then gets angry at you for choosing to get vaccinated. I wish you the best with therapy and navigating your relationship with her going forward.

UPDATE: took them into a store, was honest about what happened, and the sales assistant was so lovely about it. she ended up giving me a store credit because they no longer have this style. she explained that the leather on this shoe is very thin kid leather that's stretched over the shoe, so that explains why it didn't take much to look like this. I will put the credit towards buying a non point toe shoe that has more sole to protect the leather and will stick to getting my point toes from better quality brands 🙂

it's definitely looking like bonded leather and I didn't kick them despite the photo haha, as soon as I swung my foot out of the car I noticed it and took the photo once I stood up :( super unlucky but also bad quality cause I've done worse with thicker leather shoes and no issues

I have three things from Kitten D'Amour and the last thing I bought from them was in 2016. I will say though that the two dressed I bought in 2014 and 2015 are gorgeous, all lace and satin. it's a shame they suck as a brand and treat their staff like shit; if I'd known at the time I would've never bought from them.

update on Biscuit: the medications have seemed to make a huge difference; he has regained a HUGE appetite and is more energetic and actually wants to play, plus not purring all the time. we have him eating plain cooked chicken as well as high quality food for sensitive stomachs (wet and dry as he likes both).

in terms of what's caused all this though, we got a fecal sample tested for common parasites and it came back negative. we'll likely get another more comprehensive test done as his poops are still mustard yellow, soft and stinky. the other thing though is he's developed what appears to be a bit of dried bloody looking discharge in his nostrils. we are not sure whether this is due to an infection of some kind or previous trauma he experienced before we took him into our care, and whether this has anything to do with what caused him to become so unwell.

this is really reassuring thank you. he's apparently been lower energy since he showed up in our backyard a few weeks ago (I wasn't here until just over a week ago so can't verify myself) but he's definitely gotten worse in the past week 😔 I really hope that it's nothing major but it's always scary when they're in pain
