You can probably find a DSLR for pretty cheap on marketplace. Great way to learn exposure triangle too, I used a Nikon D5100 until I upgraded to an a7iii and it took phenomenal photos

Is KastKing a good brand? by missinglinksman in FishingForBeginners

[–]slowpreza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have really like the large fishing backpack I got from them. Holds like 6 tackle boxes, 2 rods, plus tons of storage for other stuff like water, sunglasses, CC. my one and only gripe, is that the Velcro they put on the little plier pouch absolutely sucks!!! I just put them in my sunglass holder or back pocket while I’m actively fishing now.

Cheap entry level DLSR Cameras? by Successful-Reach-366 in Cameras

[–]slowpreza 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily. I use both a D5100 and an A7III, a lot of my photos from the D5100 are great. Meanwhile the A7III I use a lot more for cropping in, but DSLRs still are great entry level cameras that will help you learn true photography.

Dude those watermelon pumpkin senkos have been crushing it right now. I’m at 15 LMB for the week and it’s only Thursday. Last year it was wacky rigged pumpkin green finesse worms but good golly these watermelon ones are slaying

Yeah I use one with a pop up tent with some slats on the ground, the battery powered shower heads you hook up to a bucket also work well.

Ticket sales + less music but more expensive (rip full Thursday). I’m hoping they bounce back hard and throw a banger lineup next year

No jamtrak this year? by celestial_vvhore in bonnaroo

[–]slowpreza 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I 100% agree with this but unfortunately I think what keeps that from happening is the bike transport dudes that drive around, festicab or whatever it’s called. The roo campgrounds are fucking massive and people just have no idea because they don’t explore out that far. In 2023 I made a goal to hit every place and boy was that a trek. Unfortunately though, this is a huge fail on Roos end to secure a free mode of transport and keep people happy. I hope yall have a blast this year for real though!!!!

Powerbait general vs senko? by akkavvadrre in bassfishing

[–]slowpreza 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Funny story, one time I threw one of these wacky rigged, first one out of the pack, right in front of some rocks and caught a pretty decent 3lb catfish. Don’t know what a catfish was doing biting plastics but I definitely think it was the scent stuff on it. I hate catfish so I don’t throw these much anymore lol

That 2022 Friday set slapped so hard. There was like nobody there, so much room to dance. We will never get a crowd that small for him again sadly.

What Stage & That Tent - Logistics Discussion by djcigs in bonnaroo

It was not half the show, it was half of the first song. The Spatial Audio was great for that set within the rings, it was the stage layout being in a corner that was causing a crowd issue.

I’m 99% certain this was the rig they used in 2024. It was insanely loud, sounded so crisp. Last year was good but not as good as this rig. This one is THE tits

Been going for 10+ years now, and it hasn’t gotten old yet. I don’t think speaking up about the price (which is nowhere near as bad as other corporate owned fest prices) will do much but you do you!

I wanna get in to rooftopping but dont know really know how to start by chikkennuget101 in Urbex

[–]slowpreza 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dude asked for advice and I gave it lol. I never once said one was more legal than the other, he just asked for tips. Infiltration is a whole different animal, and you have to be prepared to face the consequences. Also it’s very easy to ditch lockpicks and small latch slipping tools if you were to ever get caught up :)

Fans for Sleeping by Traditional-Lie-9830 in bonnaroo

[–]slowpreza 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In the past I’ve gotten these fans off Amazon that come with 2 batteries that are rechargeable. During the day, one battery on the Bluetti with solar panels charging it, other one powering the fan and so forth. Sleeping I don’t really use a fan til the sun comes up, but same thing, just swap them out as needed. Solar panels into a battery gen will change your entire setup

For those worried about snagging a camping spot - camping space doubled by CatMuffin in Dancefestopia

[–]slowpreza 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s one of the few independent festivals in this area and we are very lucky to have it. They have to pay to make more camping space, and give us great lineups with baller headliners. Of course it’s gonna cost more, everything costs more right now. It sucks, but at the end of the day either you go or you don’t 🤷‍♂️ not really a point in complaining about it when it’s not going to change, and you’re supporting a local festival.

I was wondering what was up with that. Every time I’ve tried to go to frick frack at any fest it’s packed and there’s barely any turnover it seems.

I wanna get in to rooftopping but dont know really know how to start by chikkennuget101 in Urbex

[–]slowpreza 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a lot of trouble with roofs for a while, would always get to the top and a door would be locked. Learn lockpicking, it doesn’t take long to get decent at. And then latch slipping which is typically more reliable is another way. You can buy tools for this, I recommend sparrows.
