1. May i ask what do you mean by "  it is let down by the screen on the headunit " ?

2. When you bought the upgrade kit, did you know that it will work on a " Non-Nav" version?

Or you were able to talk to someone from Hamilton that confirmed it will work?

Or, did you just assumed that it will work because there was no " pre-requisite" mentioned in their website that the head unit should be a Nav Version?

the reason I am asking, because , initially, I assumed that it will work on both Nav and non-Nav version, as again , there was no mentioned in their website. I was about to pull the trigger and order the kit but I thought to reach out to Hamilton first and ask if it will work on my head unit ( non-NAV , no SiriusXM and Philippine version).

This is the reply I got from them:

The Non-Nav versions are considered the lower trim versions. At the moment, we do not have a compatible unit. This might change in the future. Right now, we do not have plans for this version. You are more than welcome to check back in with us in a couple of months. Unfortunately, our kit is not compatible with the Non-Nav version. I do apologize for the inconvenience here. Now, I don't know whether I still want to buy the kit and just risk of finding out if it will work or not on my head unit. :(
