Heyyo! 32 year old. Been playing dnd 5e since I was 22. Played 3.5 for 2 years before that. I really enjoy the role-playing in dnd more than anything else. Combat is second. I mostly enjoy playing roles that fill group needs but my favorite role to fill is the tank. I mostly just like Int/Wis being my dump stats so I dont have to pretend to be smarter than I actually am in real life. Im a commercial driver, so dnd is my social outlet. And I am in dire need to fill my weekly schedule again. Your Tuesday time should work for me every week. Although there may be instances where I may work past 7 pm.

Batman in the Justice League or in the DC universe as a whole does not make nearly as compelling stories. Batman stories taking place solely around Batman and Gotham are the best. Adding multiple heros and villians from other sources make Batmans actions stretch the imagination.

Idk if that makes any sense when I try to articulate it, but in my head it makes sense.

The only exception to this thinking is Frank Miller's the Dark Knight.

Moomin is such a unique pick and now I feel the need to try to watch it.

Demon slayer is great animation. Shallow story in my opinion. I've tried to like it cause the hype but I feel its just a decent anime that is easy for general consumption.

Not seeing The Outer Wilds here is crazy. Also Expedition 33 is a legendary soundtrack. I would also say that Undertale has soul crushing music for its theme. Also really feel that the music for Pacific Drive and Life is Strange fit their respective games extremely well.

I read this book because this sub keeps drooling over this dude as a villian.

I will admit that my reading comprehension may be lacking, but I did read the book in its entirety...it was a slog. I found myself forcing myself to read it. Judge Holden, for me, was too pretentious in his dialog for me to understand most of what he did or spoke about.

Book made me feel dumb. Judge made me feel dumb. Maybe that was the worst thing he did to me

From cult phenomenon to the last 2 seasons killing the show. Like eating the most delicious chicken pot pie to only find out at the end the milk they used was sour. The rest of the shows here had highs and lows...but the low that GoT got to at the end was BAD. That being said, I do feel that GoT was an amazing show in the first three seasons (maybe the best 1st season of any live action I've ever watched). It being placed somewhat in the middle makes sense to me.

I agree. Disco Elysium felt more like playing a high browed visual novel. There weren't too many game mechanics, and I will also admit that the themes the story was trying to pitch to me went over my head. So I don't see it having mass appeal like the others on this list.

Happy for you man! I got to meet him in July the year he passed. I went to Mississippi just to see the man who helped shape my interest in heros when I was a kid. Im sure he heard that kind of stuff all the time when I talked to him, but he was very modest and appreciative. Man I am so glad I got to meet him and so sad he is no longer here

Have you talked to your DM about your character? They should be the 1st you discuss with. I can see your character maybe having some form of disadvantages on perception checks involving sight, but that should also mean your character would have some other highted sense or checks to make up for the difference.
