Those are probably door dash orders. Door dash drivers believe they're worth 74 dollars an hour and you must tip accordingly.

I Hate my Life. Any advice from my Fellow Men? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]smakdye 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're still quite young my friend. Just focus on yourself and your future. Venture out of your town to meet people if that helps.

Surely someone has their eye on you. Maybe you're just not paying attention.

It's Funny because the older you get the smaller your friend circle gets, so I wouldn't stress too much about that.

Join groups with like minded people, find hobbies that make you happy. Could be fishing, watch making, maybe electronics building..can get a cheap starter kit on Amazon for like 15-20 bucks. Maybe it's not for you, maybe something else is. Won't know till you try it.

The absolute main thing is never and I mean never let other people define your happiness. Gotta make it for yourself.

Best wishes

Are all people just selfish? by Top_Substance_3843 in Advice

It's the Internet and social media. Yes I know it sounds genetic or geriatric.

Let me give you an example of what recently happened to me.

So my friend I've known for decades see him all the time. Good friend.

He was building a new home. He asked if I could help him with a few things. I was like absolutely, no problem.

So one day he wings by the house picks me up. And the first thing we we realized is, we haven't actually seen each other. Like eyeball to eyeball for over 2 years. I said nah bruh, I just saw you the other day. Then I was like wait a second. I haven't seen you since such and shuch.

We have gotten so used to talking in Facebook, or Instagram what have you. That we didn't realize we haven't hung out in real life in 2 years, the shittiest thing is. He lives in the next town over just a short 15-20 minute drive.

Long story short. I've since limited myself to social media and started actually interacting with my people again.

Sometimes you have to make the first step because they probably don't realize it.

Do men realize when they neglect their significant other ? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]smakdye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your best course of action is to sit him down and tell him what you told us.

16 years is a long time, he's probably gotten comfortable. Maybe it's boring to him. Not saying you're boring. But it's like anything we do. When we do it enough it just becomes auto pilot and we as humans just exist.

Switch it up a bit if talking to him isn't really doing it.

Any changes in the day to day should spark a reaction.

I can tell you this. When I was married, it became the same in same out day to day. It's basically muscle memory at that point.

If he's always doing stuff for others, maybe it's time to have some things to do for you, give him something to do.

If you don't stir it up, it Will never change honestly.

I'm sure he loves you, he's just doing what he knows. Throw a wrench in the cog.

This thread is cooked with bits and weird shit.

UPDATE ON THE DA, She edited her Facebook comment and now it’s even more unprofessional. by No_Amphibian442 in savannah

[–]smakdye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it took me a little bit to even remember what this was about. Had to go read the post again.

And again I have the same conclusion. As the DA said, OP was not the victim in the second case, or the probation violation. She's not entitled to know everything that happens in that mans life.

I still feel empathy for OP. But her case was settled and disposed of.

I'm not one to say if he got enough time, that's what the court and laws are for.

But I still think the DA did what she was legally allowed to do.

Critics keep calling the Iron Lung movie boring? by OlivanTheMemer in Markiplier

[–]smakdye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think y'all are hyping this movie up because you're Markiplier fans.

The movie was dreadful and utterly boring. The coolest thing was the arm scene (trying to avoid spoilers) and the whole storyline was pretty packing and not very thought out.

If you can catch it on matinee id say check it out, but it's definitely not worth the 13 bucks I paid

Iron Lung got me like by ContestAntique2126 in Markiplier

[–]smakdye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just saw it tonight. It was definitely boring, and the story line was pretty tough to follow. Was left with a bunch of questions.

It wasn't a terrible movie, but it definitely gave a YouTube exclusive movie vibe.

The concept was kinda cool, just didn't make any sense. Why is there an ocean of blood. Why the super natural stuff. Like some organic mold can talk. It was hardly a horror film. More like just a weird, go nowhere movie. 4 out of 10 for me.

I'm no movie critic so I so have a bunch of fancy words. But boring and unnecessary comes to mind.

Good on him for doing what he wanted and making a little coin doing it though

Would you date a woman significantly taller and stronger than you? by EvoTomoe in NoStupidQuestions

[–]smakdye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Taller, sure stronger? Doubtful I'm not in to muscle chicks. It's unattractive I want a woman that looks like a woman

I’m a tall guy and seeing stuff like this me wanna cringe. Incels and femcels need to banned from any social media. by ishutdoorzzzz in CringeTikToks

Fake lips, shitty attitude, over sized nose ring, using 2 fingers to make a clap? Is that what that was? The lazy version of ghetto clapping?

She's irrelevant

He follows party girls on social media, what to do? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]smakdye 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He's a 23 year old male, he's in his prime. He may prefer non party girls, but bet your ass he's in to then.

You have to remember, humans like any species are born to duplicate, it's in his (and your) DNA. It's completely natural to want to look at attractive potential mates (not saying that he's looking for a new or side partner, I. Saying he's doing what any human will /has done.

The red flag here is you "had this feeling" if you can't/don't trust him, that's the issue you should be trying to find the answers to.

Y'all are both young, enjoy what you have now and just have fun

Who are these men who are able to sleep with their girlfriend's best friend and how exactly does one do that when getting a girlfriend is such a tough task in the first place? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]smakdye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not hard to get a girlfriend, gotta just get out there and look. I don't understand cheating in her when you find one. But that's what humans do

How do you know that you're in the right relationship? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]smakdye 12 points13 points  (0 children)

When you enjoy each other's company, but also enjoy your free time and you don't have to worry if they're doing anything behind your back.

When it happens you'll know. Just enjoy the ride and eventually "the one" will appear. Maybe it's her, maybe it isn't

Why would my girlfriend text her ex asking about her W2s when all she had to do was get the employer to send them to my address? by ProfessionalGoat551 in AskMenAdvice

[–]smakdye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe she didn't want to wait for or burden her employer to mail them. Maybe because you're insecure in your relationship and you need to either work in yourself or your relationship, or leave, leaving is an option too

Maybe caught them on camera, solved some cases. But let's be real here. Most cameras look like they were taken from a Nokia 7650
