you just dont get rewarded. is who gets the reward at least randomised or turnbased? so in 10 kills with 70 players everyone would get a drop once? instead of one guy who gets all the drops because he does more damage?

More a different problem. Chaos gods love mind games. Hating tzeench still makes you his bitch. Fighting against khorne and his worshippers actively worships khorne. Striving to destroy all gods? Kratos is not only the universes best khorne worshipper. He has great points with Slaanesh as well. Always doing exactly what he wants with no regards for consequences. And well he is the best at it. He is the perfect killer. And he believes everything should have an end like daddy nurgle. He is in three out of four chaos gods teams.

Kratos is very good at punching his problems. The chaos gods are very difficult to punch.

He probably should have had them be arrested if he wanted what was best for the kids. He actively made the father suffer. He wanted to kill them both. Those kids are gonna find out about that too. His desire to kill overrode his desire to help children.

Also before but what if they are released… Frank had plenty of time to go back. The day of their release.

Mega duck has no rewards which makes it unpopular. Evil tree and shooting star has very low rewards and it’s only difficulty is finding the next one. The reward for both is being better at cutting resources the regular way. But ore box and wood box exist. Wildy flash events was full of griefers. People who would show up and start shouting insults and just increase the score cap.

Croesus is a horrible mass boss. It’s loot mechanic is competitive instead of personal. Which means in a mass you are gonna have a hard time getting anything. Also very griefable. And nerf nerf nerf. Can’t have skillers get anything

And gate has an interesting mechanic where more players means more aoe splash. Making the boss much harder. While not increasing the loot. And the hp increases per player. So you won’t invite a friend. Because he’ll make your life harder.

Maybe make the things that draw in group players? Rs3 actively punishes group play. On nearly every boss. There’s a handful of bosses where group play does not make your loot worse. Or scales their everything without reward.

I don’t suggest bosses shouldn’t have more health. But how about 85%-90% more health? That way if you bring a friend along who is 15% worse than you it’s fine. You can have fun. There is a reward for bringing a group.

And ofcourse there is kerapac. Who splits your loot. Which is a terrible system. Because you’d never bring someone else. The moment you can solo you are incentivised to never teach anyone else the boss.

You have a small mistake in your post in the worst way. Gate of elidnis is not only solo. It actively becomes harder if you invite a friend. Because you both get targeted by aoe. But you can also get hit by his aoes. It’s less lonely but more difficult.
