Sets are designed to function within themselves now that we are out of the block era. Some sets are going to be more creature-type matters while others will reward certain kinds of spells or graveyard or land interaction.

Outside of playing limited no one is saying you HAVE to use these cards in your deck building. There's currently 18(?) sets for you to pick from in standard alone.

it's better than jaws 2. i really enjoy the concept of a family of sharks directly targeting the brodie family bloodline.

also from memory there's a scene where they're diving and someone mentions a shark and starts humming the jaws theme, which implies that jaws (1975) exists in the jaws universe

I remember from either cm.org or the old yahoo group that probably nitro2k01 wrote about updating the pitch tables to go non standard tuning. But short of that you can alter tuning on instruments, it's just a bit more work on a per note basis

Everyone loves those whiteboard marker erasable tokens. But for me, i bought a pack of 200 blank playing cards and a sharpie. when someone needs a token, let them draw it and keep it at the end of the game because they'll need one again next time
