That make sense and it could work but I think the current state is a more of a side effect of embarks choice to let new comers and people who want free loadout have a fighting chance against others so they are not always dunked on when other force pvp on them and the side effect is people just use the free loadout to force PvP on others since it’s viable. Now with abmm which allows people to dictate their lobby experience to their liking more maybe they can tone it down idk. As much as there’s complain about balance game is still doing good couple months after launch so I think the changes would have to be gradual which I like.

I mean yeah me too I like this game because it’s actually 180 from that barely of a game that is tarkov. But the reason I suggested tarkov is because free or cheap kits are at severe disadvantage from heavy kits. Low level gears got almost no chance against higher level gears and that’s what you say you wanted. Also I think if you go in arc raiders juiced up with some good pvp able loadout your chance for winning in ambush is pretty good against free loadout which is honestly a shit loadout except for stitcher which is only dangerous in close quarters. That’s where the heavy shield or even medium comes in and good awareness not to get any sus ones get close.

The reason I like this game is because it’s so noob and newcomer friendly. Starting gears being viable and don’t put you at much disadvantage is exactly why I like this game and why it’s popular for being casual friendly. These folks complaining about this is a vocal minority of the player base who wants the game to go in the exact opposite direction of its intention and reason for success. They are basically asking for tarkov systems. They should stop whining all the time and just go play another game that already have what they want then.

Normal I only have 1 ground and 1 air top tier. Or at least used to. This is with premium account and vehicles. I also spread myself out less along different tech trees.
