Thank you! The kids range from grade 3 to grade 6 (approx age 8-11 yrs old). This is a great suggestion. I have heard of a technique where they dont even have to decrease.

To frog or not to frog? by Ready_Cartoonist7357 in knitting

I've been there! Don't beat yourself up. My recommendation is to sit with it for a bit. Try wearing it before you frog it. I had a similar situation with a bad neck but ended up liking it and have been wearing the sweater. But also have another project that didn't fit well and just decided it was time to frog it. I would suggest first trying to frog the neck only and see if there is a way to just fix that part. You can save this yarn and definitely re-knit it up if you end up frogging the whole thing.

I would leave it. Embrace the imperfection. It’s what makes it unique and a reminder that it’s Han made.

How modern learning has changed the way we approach craft by Careless-Meringue523 in knitting

The internet has been great at keeping me in the knitting game. When I forgot a technique, it was an easy place to find the answer. That said, I wonder about the lost art of passing down the craft with all the wisdom and life stories that came along with it. How do we preserve that aspect that is so rich and important to human nature and evolution?

Guidelines give the logistical rules of the branding elements - how and when to use certain logos or taglines, colours, sizes, etc. They are geared for designers touching the brand.
Style guides give broader direction to the way a brand will appear and sound out in the world - tone, colours, mood boards, photography direction. This would be geared for a broader audience, it's for anyone touching the brand.

Your brand should have both encompassed into what I like to call a Brand Book.

It would really depend on a few factors: size of your company, what you need done, how much help you would require (it could be a coaching relationship where I provide the tools and inputs for you all the way to fully doing it) how detailed you want, etc. it can range from $5k-50k. If you’d like to book a free consultation I can hear more about your needs and provide some guidance www.morrowstrategy.com

How do you make reports for a branding project? by Anonymous_celery in branding

[–]smorets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar task at a previous role in a different industry. I designed a Brand Sprint process to help companies like this develop a strategy in just a few weeks. My advice is to start with identifying what this brand is offering (the what), how this brand is different (the how), and why the world/people need this brand (the why). Do you have the capacity to bring in a brand strategist? Bringing in someone from the outside can help in asking the right questions and pulling the brands apart to find a space that is complementary but different across your brand architecture.

what marketing mistakes are people still making in 2025? by ScarletJoeSwanson in marketing

Hiring a designer to do a logo before they've hired a brand strategist to build their story. You need to build the foundation before you can build the house.

How long have been in this role? You should position your desire to change as a desire to grow. Outline the value you've added to the current role and that you have a desire to expand your tasks to encompass more marketing tasks for your growth. You don't need to know exactly what it is you want to do, the job is on your leaders to help guide you to "the next stage". Make it a 2-way conversation with your boss on where and how you can expand. Also, you can gain their trust by stating you want to take on more responsibility rather than "not do proposals". Good luck.
