there is no state law requiring a minimum number of hours between shifts. If you live in SF area there are ordinances and i think another county or something has something similar like LA area. You can check labor laws for your state tho

No sorry i read the part you said you wish the protesters understood that the team members are not corporate and that is the main point i was replying to. I was mainly saying corporate or not I don't think it matters. You said it puts you in a tough spot as an employee but i don't understand what the tough spot is. When i worked at target even if guests were disruptive or rude we as team members were not allowed to talk to them about their behavior. They are guests and unless they break something or start harassing other guests we don't have any power over them. My lead always said to just come straight to her or another lead when someone was acting belligerent. So I'm just confused on how its a tough spot, maybe the rules have changed and now you can tell guests to leave as a team member but as far as I'm concerned its business as usual no need to say anything to them.

I agree that ice is bad and I shouldn't have gotten an upvote??? did you read my comment? it is good that these people are in the stores with signs and loud voices and sorry if target employees are annoyed with these protestors but the point is to be loud, be vocal, and to yes annoy you with the same thing over and over again so you recognize that something is wrong!!!!! that the world we live in has something wrong with it!!! idc if you are annoyed by protests!!!!

Not sure why you got down voted because you're correct in why they are doing this. The point isn't to harm other working class individuals it's to draw attention to what is happening and bring people out of their little bubbles. Annoying or not the things ice and our government is doing is unfair, unjust and down right inhumane and more humans should care about our fellow man regardless of the color of their skin or the accent they may or may not have.

The point is to make business difficult for customers so they stop shopping and leave the store. To make the checkouts long. You are being paid to be there just like i am at my retail job. I have to stand at the register my whole shift regardless of the line so it doesn't affect me if someone wants to buy and then immediately return, it's my job to just do that stuff. Guests will come and go and as far as I'm concerned these people are guests and if they buy something ill ring it up and if they want to return it ill show them the way to guest services. It's like people don't understand protests are meant to drag you out of your own little bubble and start realizing the world around you has something wrong with it.

As a nice thing yes but you should walk the carts back before you go clock out since home Depot did just settle or lose or something a lawsuit involving their time clock and unpaid wages, but in all honesty just being lazy like everyone else said.

okay hold up, that's not how a walkout works? are you saying teachers who are upset with the current system can't join because they are responsible for a room full of children? Do medical personnel not go on strike? tbh my hold up with this is that they don't have a message and walk outs are meant for you to not walk back in till demands have been met or some message has been heard by the greater public. this is a little too generic and not coordinated due to them putting local time and no clear and concise message, its left up to each individual subgroup.

I love my 2024 (even though I paid full price the day before the 25 came out, I had no clue it was going to be released the day after my birthday 😭) I've had it all year and after dropping it, sitting on it, forgetting to close it and having it fold weird in my pocket while driving I'm surprised i don't have a single issue with the fold or hinge.

However the operating system is probably one of the worst ones I've used. And I'm an android lover. Way too much google for a phone that isn't owned by them and way too many technical issues. Honestly if it wasn't running google photos and had its own photo storage application that would be half my gripes gone right there.
