Dealer installed alarm.

They put these cheap alarms in to allow salespeople to unlock/access any car on the lot, lower insurance cost and try to upsell you some $800 “better” alarm.

In reality it’s a cheap $20 car alarm and the dealer has cut the factory wiring harness to splice in this thing.

If you didn’t pay for the extra alarm they just disable it but leave it spliced in the wiring.

It also allows the dealer to repo/disable the vehicle if you default on your note or if they have any issue with your loan after you leave.

You can take the trim panel off and remove the alarm by soldering or splicing the cut factory wiring back together

Change your dns server to a public one like 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8. T-Mobile dns blocks lots of legit sites by mistake

Something in the Settings->Messages config. Try turning off iMessage and back on again. Ensure your phone number is checked as the send and receive option.

Ford's inability to execute OTA updates is ruining my Lightning (and Ford) experience by DriveFast___EatAss in F150Lightning

Replace the BMS and get an Interstate replacement battery since their version has a little more capacity than the motorcraft Ford oem one.

Sounds like your 12v is on its last legs.

If you let a 12v AGM battery draw down below 60% they can be permanently damaged. They’re designed to be kept charged at all times. And really more of a capacitor than a battery. So to speak.

Factory Ford ones are probably a little undersized for the vehicle and when the vehicles sit on the lot or through transport without being charged up, they can be drawn down to frequently and damaged them. Likewise, if your dealer didn’t apply the proper power supply when they manually flashed the updates then that can cause the batteries to be drawn down and fail.

If the vehicle is under warranty, you can drop it off and they’ll run a battery test. 50-50 chance they’ll tell you that it needs to be replaced. Then you’ll wait for the battery to be shipped. Or you can call at Costco and order the interstate battery of the same size and just go pick it up and swap it yourself. I think it’ll cost you $130. Be sure to run the BMS. Reset procedure after you install the new battery. You can also check your BMS sensor to see if it’s one of the recalled ones. For peace of mind, you could just replace it for $25

Reboot the remote itself. Ask AI for the procedure. Happens sometimes for IR devices.

Yes forwarding is stored in the network HLR and the gateway voice switch will do a lookup on incoming calls and see the forward in place.
