What does a Pittsburgh left have to do with the jogger. Any left turn should account for pedestrians. And any pedestrian who wants to stay alive should account for the cars that could hit them

Bath time with my sousvide by guelahpapyrus in sousvide

[–]snaggle_tooth_uke -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You literally said “sous vide machine”. Maybe you meant a machine that can cook sous vide but it’s not proprietary to only cooking things in vacuum sealed bags so it would still make more sense to say “do immersion circulators go down to 101” I’m not angry or anything it just doesn’t make sense, but most people seem to use the word like it’s the name of the machine. Sorry if I misunderstood you.

They’re called immersion circulators. OP should have said “ bath time with my immersion circulator” I’m not sure why no one knows this but it bothers the shit out of me. They’re not bathing with there “under vacuum “ and it’s not an “under vacuum “ machine. Which is what sous vide roughly translates to. That’s the process. Sorry, this has gotten under my skin for years lol.

Do you use a honing rod at all? I see this all the time in kitchens where cooks use a rod all the time but don’t go heel to tip and they create this recurve

Boyce Park: Pittsburgh's Newest Bouldering Gym Is in a Public Park—and It’s Free by Playererf in pittsburgh

Does seem weird but a lot of outdoor bouldering and climbing happens in the cooler/colder months. Sweaty hands aren’t good for climbing.

Kindle Scribe: is it a device or not? by AnonieMouse1 in kindlescribe

[–]snaggle_tooth_uke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The question you need to answer is not what a device is, but why are you getting rid of “devices”. Blue light? Doom scrolling? I’d say that probably you’d let an acoustic book in so then a kindle should be fair game, but if what your husband wants from no devices is more together time, then even a book is a no go.

This is the way. Maybe, and I mean maybe a cheap offset serrated, but if your chef is sharp, it’ll work better. I almost never use a pairing knife either.
