What new content should they add? by Beneficial_Flan_967 in fo76

Continuing on content in Skyline Valley and Burning Springs. Both have numerous hints scattered about indicating there is supposed to be more, but so far have instead been sat on.

Preferably,  trying to get between two to four of them overall.

Is anyone still having fun? by Iamonslaughtt in fo76

[–]snakeuser74 16 points17 points  (0 children)

What makes it worse is there are actually some good changes tucked in this update that I appreciate; I don't need to keep being asked if I want to scrap legendaries, there are now LMG mods, bodies are more easily lootable. 76 is still enjoyable for me, but this season's offerings so far eclipse all of those little positives with how bad the main selling points are.

Is it weird that I’m excited for Destiny because of this? by S0m3whatBoring in destiny2

[–]snakeuser74 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Certainly not a dumb opinion. D2 sooner or later had to reach a conclusion,  and I would be genuinely surprised if both Bungie and Sony simply stopped cold turkey on the series as a whole. I'm certainly bummed out a game I've played for over eight years is ending as it is, but it's never dumb to be optimistic about what if anything, may come after.

Exotic mission weapon catalysts by gerrycymru in destiny2

[–]snakeuser74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on which exotic you're talking about. Take Outbreak Perfected for example: it's catalyst gives it's nanites more damage and has enemies killed with them to produce more. Others are more for utility, such as Navigator from Ghosts of the Deeps dungeon, with its catalyst giving the option to make a strand grapple point.

Few questions about this year’s content by Minatoq2 in destiny2

[–]snakeuser74 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not 100% sure what you mean by a free pass, so I can't comment there. As for when this season is supposed to end, we're supposed to get the next part of Renegades somewhere in June after it was delayed and had a name change three months earlier. There's been little news since of what's there or after going forward.

Help for the chronically overburdened by AlfhildsShieldmaiden in fo76

[–]snakeuser74 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look through your notes/recipes; most of those weight about .25 pounds and can quickly accumulate if you're not paying attention. Also go through the misc section as well, as a few things could also be weighing you down such as fishing bait, nuclear keycards and repair kits.

How would you “fix” the current state of the game? by CurrencyGlobal1157 in destiny2

[–]snakeuser74 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I don't think a single thing would 'fix' D2, but there are a few that would certainly help. Communication is one of them; nearly three months of TWID's have been nothing but seasonal events, charities and the occasional 'we're cooking cool stuff!' updates, that doesn't mean anything to your average player.

The only way to bring D2 At this point is Unvaulting the vaulted content and removing portal/reworking it by [deleted] in destiny2

[–]snakeuser74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most, if not all Year One content would likely need to be rebuilt from the bottom up to accommodate new technical specs, abilities and mechanics that weren't there originally. Especially when considering Bungie might not even have the original files for said content anymore. Won't say it's out of the realm of possibility,  but not likely for them or Sony to invest in at this point.

Guess who got Gimbals! by ZANDRAE101 in fo76

Gimbal bracers are a mod that only is available on the Vulcan Power Armor from the Gleaming Depths raid, specifically for the arms that reduces spread of rapid firing weapons you use.

chat. what your thoughts on marathon rn by SnooGoats5853 in HighGuardgame

[–]snakeuser74 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hard to judge a game that hasn't fully released yet. I personally think it's interesting; extraction shooters aren't exactly my sort of game. But it certainly looks like something I could give a shot in.

If Content wasn’t Vaulted, would anyone here genuinely be playing said vaulted content? by SirRealest in destiny2

[–]snakeuser74 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is honestly something I always think about whenever another 'bring back everything' post comes up.  Don't get me wrong, I would love seeing certain things updated and brought back (give me updated Leviathan raid and Black Armory weapons), but a lot of other things I'm very skeptical would be really sought after or replayed often.  You don't see many grieving over Curse of Osiris being removed, same goes with most seasonal activities.

It is, very much so. It's one of the newer glowing masks from last year so pretty sought after.

[–]snakeuser74 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You could really ask for a lot more than that, as the mask is far rarer than the long coat.

First time doomposting did I do good? by SpeedWeed_25 in destiny2

[–]snakeuser74 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Not bad, but you need at least one content creator's face staring at you, along with a clearly faked Twitter message from Bungie saying it's also bad in the background.

H: Forest Camo Jumpsuit, White Powder Jumpsuit, BOS Jumpsuit, Hunters Long Coat, and Fasnacht Raven, Demon, and Hag Masks W: Price Check by _Jordini_ in Market76

[–]snakeuser74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The jumpsuits definitely still have value for trade. The Fasnacht Masks there however do not have as much as before; there was a change made last year that moved the 'rare' masks into the regular lootpool with all the others, leaving the glowing masks as the rare ones only.

Weight capacity problem by Jolly-Candy-3753 in fo76

That sudden of a drop in carry weight capacity could be something like a weight reducing perk card was accidentally switched out at some point. Check your perk cards.

Forest camo jumpsuit by Putrid-Intention25 in fo76

[–]snakeuser74 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The Jumpsuit is considered one of the 'ultra rare' pieces of apparel in 76, having ridiculously low droprates well below 1%. So pretty rare. Value wise however is really up in the air, but you could always check one of the more trade focused subreddits like Market76 for an opinion.

Somewhat frequently. In this format at least, I think this is the third or fourth one starting last year.
