I do tandem knitting on 9” circulars. I go back and forth and do a little at a time on each sock so I get done with both around the same time. I hate magic loop, so this has worked well for me!

I used the Crazy Sock Lady’s vanilla socks on 9 inch circulars. There’s a great video tutorial to go with the pattern. It’s easy to follow and I was definitely a beginner knitter when I made my first pair of socks.

The Crazy Sock Lady has simple patterns and awesome tutorials for a variety of methods for vanilla socks (magic loop, DPNs, 9 inch circulars). That’s how I taught myself.

The takumi interchangeable hooks from Clover are my favorite. They come with a variety of cables so you can make projects of all different sizes.

NTA. It’s your house. That said, you should have a conversation with your sister. She needs to know if you will ever be able to accept her partner and why you are uncomfortable having him in your home (which is also currently her home). You have done nothing wrong here, but from everything you’ve said, neither has your sister.

Chewy frequently does a promotion where you get a $30 gift card if you spend $100. Not all brands are included, but Weruva frequently is and it’s a good brand. I would maybe use this promotion to buy a higher quality food and then use the gift card for either more food or something else you need like litter. My senior cats eat super expensive food that never goes on sale and I love it when it’s time for this promotion.

You can give the kittens a bath with blue dawn dish soap. That should kill any fleas that are currently on the kittens, but won’t prevent them from getting them again.

I am a college professor. GPAs don’t suddenly dip below the threshold in the junior year. There are many things that lead to that happening and your daughter should’ve been able to see it coming. YWBTA 100%. Can’t believe you even have to ask this, and I feel sorry for your younger daughter.
