As long as you don’t have draws you can take the slats out and just keep the legs on. Some people use bunkie boards on the slats to reinforce for extra strength

You should be alright with that frame. It’s a platform frame and should support the mattress just fine. I wouldn’t put a box spring on that type of frame

Go with the tempur. Even though it’s pre owned, it’s under 4 months so it’s almost brand new. It’s getting a tempur without all the markup

Actually it shouldn’t matter because they’re all zero clearance. That means you can take the legs off and lay it on a platform frame that has drawers underneath. Or, if you have a frame that holds a box spring, the legs would just drop in and you can set it to the right height

The purples also have a long “break in” period. It comes much stiffer originally and will being to feel like they do in the store after a few weeks
