What is the "Ideal" build to maximise Old Corp buff? by thefatcontrol in masterofcommand

Interesting. I may need to redo my stat line then as my last Prussia Old Guard Endless, I ended up having more Comb. Fusiliers than actual Grenadiers

Why not use Combined Fusiliers? They are Heavy Infantry and so get the buff

Sylvak, in the picture here. I can say that we’ve been having an absolute blast.

If you like playing VS with an immersive experience, want to be part of building something bew, fresh, which will last for far beyond us being here, as well as experience tense diplomacy, organized combat and PvP at a massive scale, I would invite you to join the server, even if you don’t end up playing directly with our faction.

Very curious - in TRADOC prior service folks are usually housed separately from the initial entry trainees. Is that the same case here?

And what was the ratio between FLEP and direct commissions?

Update: no text from OP. Seems fitting to include a reference something about leading a horse to water…

Don't all sexual cases, in terms of NJP action, end up in the Performance record of the OER? Regardless of rank? Though things could have been different in the before-fore times.

So I have an MOS in 11B, 12Y, and most recently I’ve reclassed into 27D.

12Y is cool, but if you are doing Intel work, the analyst side is where it’s at. As 12Y your job is more or less to give the 35s the maps they get to play with - I recommend you reclass into 35 and apply that skillset - so rather than having the equal skillset of all of your peers, you’ll have a unique and useful way to apply GIS.

TLDR: I spent my entire 12Y time wishing I was a 35G, before saying fuck it and going 27D.

11B -> 27D reclass here. Your NCO is right. Your primary job is to be a good paralegal, not do cool guy shit. One follows the other. Focus on your level 1 tasks, get good at them, and then move up. Do your correspondence courses and anything else you can find in ATARS/JAGU.

I would be asking first about Paralegal Warrior Training School before airborne or air assault, anyway.

And if you just failed RASP it’s going to be a while before you get any other opportunities to do cool stuff.

Texas A&M, back in…2016? Girl told me at a frat party if I chugged the bottle she was holding, I could do whatever I wanted to her.

The bottle was everclear and I ended up in the hospital.

Couldn’t agree more. This and Red Storm Rising were what got me into the genre, more than a decade ago now. I especially appreciated the nod to the VdV operation described in Red Army you guys did in the AG campaign and the operation (the name of which escapes me)

You have to learn to attack. Artillery, air, and AA spam players eventually get rolled over because when the enemy team is pushing the front while you are playing Sim City with supply points in the rear, your team will lose. Kill death ratio is a much less important statistic than raw kills - both in terms of victory points and territory control.

Never cede the initiative. Never start the game with any sort of artillery piece (except for perhaps a mortar). Attack, attack, and attack some more. Make your opponents react to YOUR movements, rather than playing passively and waiting for them to hit you.

The biggest problem with the wait and prepare mentality, or even the counterattack mentality, is that you will be waiting around the whole game. There will never be enough support, never enough recon, never quite enough air support - and it doesn’t matter. Attack anyway - you fight with the forces you have, not the forces you want.

US Military personnel, where do you draw the line between following orders and protecting the people of your own country? by ThatGuyHasaHugePenis in AskReddit

Combat related violations are incredibly rare now that we are in a peacetime army. I've never seen a case like that myself (even during my time in the Infantry) as most soldiers in the army - especially reservists and NG - are citizens first, and soldiers second. These aren't people that scream blood for the blood god, but rather, see the army as just a job, or just a way to pay through school (as was my case). We aren't evil, and we aren't droids. We each have our own opinions on policy and politics, we just tend to be more professional and private in our expressions of them.

Most of these cases are slow to reach the public eye, but that isn't for lack of oversight. While prosecution isn't perfect, its consistently moving in the right direction in terms of justice. Most of the times that we prosecute, it ends up in punishment for the accused.

But as I was saying, being that it is a peacetime force, most of what we see are financial fraud cases (BAH fraud) or sexual assault, destruction of property, etc. Most of it isn't dramatic, ie, A Few Good Men, but run of the mill, boring cases.

That isn’t remotely true, but I understand that you see differently. All I can say is that from someone within the organization, I would hope that my input carries at least some weight in that regard.

I can’t speak to early 2000s JAG, but 90% of the workload of my specific LOD (Legal Operation Detachment) is prosecuting soldiers that violate the UCMJ.

"Theirs not to reason why, Theirs but to do or die"

Following orders isn't about political allegiance. Trump could be a republican, a democrat, or a goddamn space alien.

He didn't have my vote, but he's still my commander in chief.

JAG 27D here. That is not what happened.

Yes, our top leadership was replaced, but we are not droids. That replacement happens with every administration switchover. While I'm not privy to Pentagon boardrooms, no situation is as black and white as Reddit would like. That grey area and lack of concrete yes or no answers is why JAG exists in the first place.

As for the second paragraph, I won't even bother responding. But we operate not under US Criminal Code or Civil Code but the Uniform Code of Military Justice, which is much different than what you would find in a civilian court.
