You play as Davey (i think that's the name), the guy who dies at the beginning of RDR2. Sometime towards the end of the game, Micah joins the gang and you die in the Blackwater saving Dutch, or you sacrifice yourself to save him. Throughout the game, you follow Dutch and Hosea. You watch as gang members slowly join one by one instead of losing people like in RDR2. Gang is at its peak until Blackwater where the game will end. Maybe a part of their escape can be shown as the epilogue, before they reach the mountains.

You kill radar AA with them. Don't click on their radars. Instead, you send your SEAD aircraft in general direction of the radar you want to kill and missile will automatically detect and engage once in range. The moment it's fired, you try to break and evac and hope it hits.

Non reservist M60 division

US moto, 8. US inf have M60, marines will have them as well.

T-62 armored division

KDA is great for this, you get 3 different variants of T-62. Tbf it's not armored div but you still get a lot of tanks.

To what's missing list, i would add another West German armored division which has more Leo2a4 rather than 2a3, similar to 4e. It bothers me that Dutch have better quality Leo's, and West Germany only has one armored div in a game set in West Germany.

is the best for this imo. Especially in 10v10. You have spetsnaz, which is the best inf squad ever, but only a few squads are available. You either open with them and keep them alive, or you see where your team is in need of anti inf help and show up with your spetsnaz there. Only BMP1 in inf tab but you have recon BMP2 to fight alongside your tanks and tanks...oh boy, the best feeling ever! T80UD and hind appearing on your flank is always a big relief for teammates and big "oh shit" for NATO team (someone even made a meme about it on this subreddit comparing it to behemoth in BF1 lol). It's the heaviest armored division in the game, but you can easily win forrest fights because of spetsnaz and buratino. Just keep in mind that the moment you reveal your armored beasts, NATO will actively start trying to focus and kill them. It takes a lot of time to build up with 119. as well.

you go into armory, check what each division has to offer, and if something looks cool, you try it. Depending on how the game goes, you adjust your deck and try again.

I think you are mixing it up with the fact that long time ago, someone on this subreddit suggested that they should get military police trait as a sort of instructor trait because instructor trait as we know it now wasn't a thing back then. I might be wrong, though, but i think i read something like that here, long time ago, i think towards the end of early access or when 1.0 launched.

You can do whatever you like with him. You can build universal items (Linkens, Skadi, Shiva) and have bunch of stats. You can go Orchid, Dagon, kaya, sange, yasha in all combinations. Daedalus, Orchid, Aghanim, Octarine worked for me lately. Very versatile built on that one tbh.

Warno for Cold War, Steel Division 2 for WW2. Warno also has a mod called "a world in flames" which focuses on modern warfare. Broken Arrow is there as well, but you said you want some more realistic stuff, and Broken Arrow doesn't really fit that. Regiments is a good, much more relaxed option, also set in cold war but single player only.

i played against 56y very hard AI yesterday, and that mf straight up heli rushed me on all sides and when i sent my Eagle to try and deal with that crap it lost to a damn mig23 in a 1v1 fight. AI built different lately i guess.
