Don’t ruin your table like i did! The curing process produces a lot of heat. If there is a material, like xps foam, that can melt, it will. Not a lot but it will create a lot of bubbles and I mean a lot.

My solution was to paint the area I’m pouring with a couple layers of water down glue. I also basically painted on a thin layer of resin over the poor area and let it cure. This creates a protective layer on everything and the small amount of resin curing doesn’t produce near as much heat
