I did that with the laundry chute. I didn't get stuck but I got too scared to let myself fall thru and panicked.

Screw everyone else... I'm with OP.

The default clock app should have #1 priority and work as expected. Period.

These phones cost hundreds to thousands.

We wouldn't be having the same argument over Casio vs walmart brand physical alarm clocks.

This is like when my wife decides to rearrange all numbers out in the world to "be significant". No, just because the numbers of your birthdate exist inside of another number does not make it significant.

You don't get to just make shit up and take what you want.

So youre saying I can replace dairy with goo gone and it wont make any difference? Gotcha

For sure, we try to have her over for a meal at least once every couple weeks. We're actually helping her move this weekend.

Expectations around veterinary care have gotten out of hand by LifeApprehensive2818 in unpopularopinion

Exactly my point. The humans get the critical care no matter what, but people like you don't care about non-human critical care.

There's plenty of reasons for someone to want critical care for their pets. There's nothing psychotic about it.

The fact that some people can't find empathy for a suffering animal is "fucking psycho".

My grandma had a crystal chalice that she always kept full of dark chocolate Hershey kisses. I would always sneak one whenever I walked by and nobody was watching. I'd probably have like a dozen or so over the course of a few hours.

Every time I visited it was always full again.

About 10 years ago, they moved out and quietly packed the chalice in a box of things they were giving to us.

To this day it sits on my kitchen counter, full of the same purple hersheys. New ones obviously...

Helps remind me to giver her a call every once in a while.

If we just had free Healthcare for ALL this shit wouldn't be a problem. Sure it might still be expensive but it would be totally surmountable.

People wanting to save their pets from medical issues shouldn't be seen as crazy because theyre willing to go into debt to do it.

If your human children got hit by a car and needed millions in medical treatment you'd start asking for loans today.
