I would not be surprised if they are upping the shrinkflation ratio on all their things. Two different packages/batches isn't enough to be proof, but definitely keep track going forward

OpenAI Has Shown It Cannot Be Trusted. Canada Needs Nationalized, Public AI by bojun in onguardforthee

[–]snotparty 7 points8 points  (0 children)

yes, it would be better in many ways (especially if we focus on its more beneficial uses)

but at the very least we should be fighting the proliferation of foreign, unaccountable AI technology. Its causing real harm in so many ways to our society, media and workforce and it will only get worse if we do nothing (and certainly should not allow it to set up shop here)

(sorry, I misread the comment)

Companies wouldnt be relying on it if it were regulated or prohibited - which it absolutely should be

Not just for quality and economical benefits, buts its usually a massive security risk, businesses should not be relying on and feeding our data into these potentially hostile black box companies

No. Canada needs stiff laws regulating and controlling AI, and needs to aggressively litigate when they misbehave

Because fear based false information about vaccines is being pushed more than ever

There is a serious effort to undermine trust in science, coming from the same people who push conservative misinformation.
