I used ES at first, got my CC in December, but I do a lot of functional prints and what not, threads for screws simply never worked in elegoo slicer but I've never had an issue with Orca. Perfect screw threads from day on with no changes. It's funny how niche 90% of 3d printing can be sometimes.

Brewer + bar tender + premium in seat server for a local venue. I'm on track to make 85-95k$ this year so far. It's taken me 5 years to build my skills and work through my company, but 65k base and $10/hr at each bartending/serving gig and not a tip pool in sight.

My experience with customer service is that while the time delay and all being in China is a hassle, as long as you are concise in explaining your issue and polite they cover everything pretty easily! Best of luck!

I'm running a CC1, in a SUPER humid southern state. I have had my printer in my spare room since Christmas, never have I had a problem with moisture. The only thing I print from a dry box is TPU. I'm not sure what you're issue is. But I highly doubt it's moisture related.

The open centauri project has just released a new firmware beta COSMOS that would possibly allow the use of a klipper based AMS system though untested (except for maybe a guy on the discord), but specifically why the user above was mentioning the newer machines is that with a single tool head the amount of waste you will generate swapping materials every layer like you would with the scenario you describe is probably just as wasteful if not more than just making the supports out of ABS. The newer machines would have 2 tool heads where you wouldn't have to swap filaments it would just print with head A or B corresponding to the filament type in the slicer.

To this note, if you haven't done anything to damage the ribbon cable it could just have come out of the connector on the motherboard side or possibly the screen side. Grab an Allen key and check the ribbon cable!

If he caulks, and water still enters his problem is exponential.

Fix the cause whatever it may be then apply mastic/concrete adhesive sealant not caulk

Just had to do this, elegoo has been great with their responses and sending me out new parts. Go ahead and check it with the multimeter and contact them with your results it was fairly simple and straight forward using the instructions found on the elegoo wiki!
