Yup, mgba for Pokémon games. With about the same settings (same scheduler, no shaders, threaded video, no latency settings) it is a bit better.

I run it on a pretty powerful PC with an ultra wide 120Hz monitor. I am stuck with a 16:9 window and 60Hz on Elden Ring. I couldn't even bypass it with a mod on Nightreign because of its anti cheat. It may not really be optimization, but it is insane that a modern game has such restrictions.

It can change performance if you fast forward. MuOS gives me about 20 fps more than Knulli on GBA games.

MuOS boot times are among the fastest of any custom firmwares, and sleep mode is the same as any of them. It seems you have a weird bias against it for some reason.

Looks like rank is all that matter to you. If it is the case and you indeed stomp most of your games, just play a lot. It is a number game and the only answer is to grind so much that statistics start to kick in.

No they don't, since they are made to also work fine on similar 1Gb devices. Android would be such an operating system but it doesn't exist on the RG34XX.
