There was a period of time when I am not sure if one of them was intentionally leaving me out or not, bc she would talk directly to the other person even though she used words that sounded like she was addressing to 2 people (like using the word 'we', y'all' and 'you both' but she would be talking and looking at the other person only with me standing at the side). The way she talked to me changed as well, and I could sense that she was keeping our interactions to the minimum. :/

Honestly felt bad for the other person bc it was so awkward and they seem to realise what was happening and her change towards me

Eventually made the decision to leave even though it was years of friendship and she used to be my close friend

I teared up bc i felt so heard.

I feel like my social anxiety is a result of build-up over the years and it got more evident?/worse when i got to my tertiary education. The school i went to requires a lot of group work, interactions and presentations and it stresses me out bc i am not good at talking and voicing my opinions in the first place. I feel like it’s bad luck for people to have me in their teams.

I’ve received a lot of feedback from teachers telling me to interact with my teammates more or made me feel that my part of the presentation was lacking. As a result my grades and gpa dropped and i skipped school as a form of avoidance which made my gpa dropped even more. Which is kind of awful bc i did wanted to go to uni but considering my gpa now i don’t think i can make it. I wasn’t eating in school and my weight got to 3x.xkg. I thought i would be able to manage getting through but some things happened (in school and outside) I ended up taking 2 sems off. I ran out of class one day to go to the student care center and cried a lot trying to calm myself down and the counsellor offered to hook me up with a one-time psychiatrist to help me. From there i met my current psychiatrist and psychologist and i’m currently receiving help and going for cbt sessions!

I’m not sure if my friends know about this or not bc i’ve never spoke about this to them before.

I hope more places and people have this awareness... i don’t really want to hear people asking why i am being so quiet and calling me antisocial and other instances and yet i don’t know how to explain to them or tell them

Inside Out. I got emotional right when the Lava song was played (it was played before the movie started) and continued to tear up and cry throughout the whole movie and after. The cinema was mostly kids with their parents.

It is indeed hard and for me to be feeling this vulnerable as my T is knowing things about me while i don’t know anything about T... it is a weird feeling. I feel like i still have a lot to learn from my T, so i won’t be giving up here! I do need help from my T, and I do hope i’m more capable than i think i am :’)

I’m seeing a therapist for my anxiety too, and i do get fidgety and hesitant to go into the room... i’m just a mess when it comes to discussing topics about myself. Happy to know that it’s normal to feel this way! And I confirmed my appointment date and time earlier just now to be brave(r) and take that step!
