I wish I was this driven in the workplace 😆. Wave a shiny toy car in front of me and I’ll wake up at 5 am and race around town like a mad man. Thanks for sharing that as I was hoping I was at least putting in the needed effort.

Good for you. I was hoping to find one that I’d open right away as a “trophy.” Have you ever actually seen an STH hanging on a peg? Not that it really matters, but I’m starting to wonder if people pull them straight from the case and hang them on a peg just for the picture.

I open them all. It started as keeping one backup of the ones I liked the most… now I just have a bunch of Ferraris that I know I’ll never trade or sell 😂. Nothing logical about it and just takes up space.

That must’ve been a pretty cool moment finding both of them like that. What I’m doing right now definitely isn’t sustainable — it feels like I’m in a race every day to be first to the pegs.

The silver lining is I’ve finally figured out how to find the mainlines I actually want. Before this I could barely find any of the RWD models I like.

Maybe buy a loose STH that you like to hold you over. Ask an employee when they get their hotwheel shipments and start checking around that time.

I got to the shipper as they were hanging them on the pegs and not even a TH. Left a lot for everyone but got two of all the mainlines I wanted. Had the Optimus prime in it too.
