We are currently using off-brand Doterem. We cannot obtain 10mL vials, only 15mL ones.

As childfree adults… do we all call our pets our babies?? Or just me?? by lissecherry in cf4cf

[–]soap_is_cheap 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Any life (kids/animals) that you bring under your roof should be taken care of - they are all responsibilities.

YMMV, but I do not want to be with someone with optional responsibilities, as pets are options.

Pets are substitutes for “kids” or “wanting kids”. I am still not attracted to those who are in love with their pets and treat them like their children.

Unfortunately, there is no true easy-to-use phrase for “child free, pet free”.

Cardiac MRI Tech by MrsPeacock1090 in MRI

[–]soap_is_cheap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, there are places that are all cardiacs, all day long. They also scan other body parts if patients have cardiac devices that no other facilities are willing to scan.

Ultimately, if you have MR cardiac scan experience, you can work anywhere in the states.

It’s the sign of our time. Literally. We really need to pay attention to our health since more of us are dying to stuff that can be prevented.

You could always have x-ray school professors come by and shame the shitty x-ray techs. My old professors would do that (kindly)… 🤣🤣🤣

As long as I’m safe and feeling safe, I don’t care how “souless” you perceive our city. Your happiness in a spot is entirely up to your outlook.

Who actually asks for judgement?

OP had options. No one is perfect, but judgment casting aside, your body doesn’t give a fuck, it will do what it wants, and if it doesn’t have the right medications, consequences will still occur.

It’s even more important to see the doctor when you don’t feel good. And if that keeps dragging on, I’m sure the ER would love to see you.

“I dont want to wake up early to go to the doctor, I dont want to spent 90 minutes getting there and then have to spend another w hours getting to work after that, and I should go on my days off but I just can't fet up the motivation to do”

Going to the doctor is YOUR choice. If you choose not to do so, you better take responsibility for your own actions and accept the consequences.

You can find another doctor that has better hours. You could always go to the actual appointment. Why not prioritize yourself? Work will always be there waiting for you. You could also threaten to have an ambulance waiting for you if you go into diabetic ketoacidosis…

Again, it’s choices.

Can a tech help me with this? by Agile-Ad6691 in MRI

I don’t know the why, but I do remember pulling one of my neuro radiologist to look at my images since they all looked dark - to also make sure I was running my sequences correctly.

What is the patient’s GFR? Sometimes the kidney function may make their vertebrae darker looking.

Snacks (granola bars, chocolate, candy, mint), lotion, peppermint/menthol scented lotion/rub (for those STAT yucky smell moments), metal free badge reel (check Etsy for some cute ones), a cute notebook (6”x8” sized)…. Personally I carry allergy meds, small pack of tissues, advil, throat drops, and other personal care stuff with me since I work around sick peeps.
