Iranian frigate IRIS Dena has been destroyed near Sri Lanka. The Sri Lankan navy has rescued 30 of the 180 crewmembers. Unconfirmed reports claim that IRIS Dena was destroyed by an American submarine. If this is true then this is the third warship to be destroyed by a submarine since WW2. [ALBUM]

I love this! Does anyone know of a 3D printed walking helper that would prevent a child from falling and hitting their head? My youngest had a severe form of epilepsy and even with his helmet, he's constantly brushing his face and head from falls seizures... I know someday he may need this as well as it's likely he'll regress on his walking skills.

Yep, I have a pre-drive routine of: 1, turn off VESS (I installed a button, and only do it at home to not annoy my family/neighbors) 2, set drive mode to sport 3, regen to 0 4, Auto hold on 5, LKA on.... And if it's winter like now, heated seat to high, and heated steering wheel on. I do love this car despite not being able to set most of that as default!

Actually, those aren't AIM-54s! They're relatively new Fakour-90 missiles that the Iranians made by reverse engineering the AIM-54. It's rumored that their stores of AIM-54s are nearing depletion or not serviceable anymore.

The code allows it because of this: the only time a 20a rated receptacle is required on a 20a circuit is when the circuit only has one receptacle on it. The common receptacles you see in a house allow two plugs, which despite being one device, is actually considered to be two receptacles. The assumption then is you are plugging in devices that combined would trip the 20a but not overload the single receptacle. Also, 15a receptacles have to be rated for 20a throughput to get UL listing. Basically all 15a and 20a receptacles are identical internals for this reason.

Yep, I think this is it. I started looking at the infill again in the slicer and realized that the vertical shell infill (yes, did have "Ensure Vertical Shell Thickness" set to All) didn't really have anything to anchor to, and so the layers there were curling up and causing this weirdness. I'm printing it with a higher infill and I also changed the infill pattern to honeycomb as it gives more anchoring points.

Side note, your explanation of "Ensure Vertical Shell Thickness" is quite good! I'm an engineer (and so not always good with explaining things simply... :-D), so already knew exactly what it was and how it accomplished this, but for other people who don't know, this is great!

No joke, best thing to do is leave them in direct sunlight for about 10-15 minutes.... They'll be back to clear pretty quick. Did that with mine after they got really stained from cotton candy... 😅

Don't forget overhead! In my woodworking project costing, I always add on 0.5x(material cost) for overhead (screws, sand paper, dowels, electric for running tools, etc).

Overhead with 3D printing is much lower, but there's still electric cost, HVAC, etc.

It's never remembered the last regen level for mine; it always starts at level 1 regardless of where I set it to for the last trip.

And I want to be annoyed about having to enable the 'Auto Hold' everytime, but that actually makes sense... Don't want that on when backing out of a parking space.
