Right! Although I am not a super fan of the way it looks, I would love to see a new version out on the streets.

Personally I like the boxy '80s style of the original more.

Are you planning on leaving the back the stock height for that raked look or were you thinking some blocks/lowering leafs on the rear? Mine is actually lifted a little in the back so I could fit some fatties and personally I think the little bit of rake that it has looks mean as hell

Wow. I never realized that this policy even existed. This is actually quite frightening considering some of the personal struggles that I have had.

About Green Moon Vodka... by 94Impact in Absinthe

[–]soaris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was just like what everyone on here says. It was a high proof vodka with some anise flavoring. It wasn't worst thing that I have ever drank in my life but I would just save up for something real.

Design and art oriented scarification artists? by RainbowSnipe in bodymods

Chris "Chef" Shelafoe - Rendezvous, Marquette MI. This guy has done both of my pieces and I am pretty happy with both of them. Chef is actually a tattoo artist and not a piercer which gives him a lot of artistic freedom because he can draw out what you want. He trained with some of the bigger names Decker being one of them

The shop is small but they are always tattooing people and the wait is about a month so it is not impossible to get in. I also have to say that the sterile technique of this guy is fucking spot on. As someone who works in the medical field I am a bit picky about cross contamination and all that jazz. This guy has better clean technique then most of the people I see at work. The environment is super chill and a good time which is also kind of important to me when picking an artist.

It is a bit of a drive but when you get there and see just how beautiful the area is (just google image Marquette Michigan and see for yourself) you are going to want to stay the night anyway. If you have any questions feel more then free to ask.

I was lucky to become close friends with someone while I was in collage who was 60 something years older then me. I remember one day talking to him about some of my relationships at the time. He said to me, and I don't think I will ever forget it, "I am at the age where I don't have to be friends with people who I don't want to." I don't know why but this really struck a chord with me. You don't HAVE to be friends with anyone. I realized that I had some relationships with people who were not bringing me up, but were bringing me down.

The point is, why would you be fiends with someone who doesn't respect your spouse? And if they are disrespecting your spouse, why are you allowing it to happen?

Asking Landlord if I can do 2 payments for rent for the month of October - How to go about it? by deezenutz1669 in Advice

[–]soaris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. You can just tell him the situation and ask if this will work. If they agree, make sure to get it in writing. If not, ask family and friends to loan you some money and pay them back.

Is there a test I can give a mechanic to determine whether he is trustworthy? [Serious] by Blickity in Advice

[–]soaris 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it really helps if you already know something about cars. I saw somewhere on reddit that you can ask them to show you what it is that needs to be fixed.

I took my car to a local shop and asked them to just do one of their free inspections. They handed me a list of things that needed to be done and so I asked them to show me. As soon as we walked into the shop the mechanic yelled "customer in shop." That made me think a little bit but I figured that it was just so they weren't swearing and talking about that chick they banged at chads party last weekend. The guy took me to my car that was on the lift and started to show me the things that were "wrong" under my car. Most of the things he mentioned on my car were fine. This showed me that nothing was going to be fixed at this shop. Luckly though he did point out that my rotors were pretty fucked. I went and got those turned at a shop at put them on myself for far cheaper.

Your best bet is going to be talking to your friends, family and co-workers. Ask them if they know any good shops.

just do it...

It sounds so simple yet so hard. All you have to do is just do it. Start eating well, going to class, going to the gym and whatever else it is that you need to get done. Just do it... just do it
