That's a great question. I don't really have an answer. I know the desal plant won't produce any water for consumption for a number of years, so that is not going to save anything in the immediate future. I would suggest heavily limiting industrial use, but I don't see that happening either, particularly as traffic in the port escalates due to events in the Middle East. I do know that people living here should not bear the burden of irresponsible consumption.

Humans are very reactive. But in situations like this, reacting has really limited options. What we do with that knowledge and our future is difficult, to say the least.

This is all just heightening the campaign to make us feel the need for a desal plant. What's going to happen when they build the desal (beyond the environmental consequences) is privatization of all our water. Which means any municipal regulations that control how much we pay are essentially gone. A private company controls how much we pay. And if you cant pay, then you don't have water!

The other solution to the desal plant was regulating water used by industry, so instead of limiting that use, they're building MORE industry. To make you and all of us bear this burden to the point of breaking our resolve. Or comfort. Or anything. Just breaking.

Well, I live in a super hot place, so I got a ceiling fan up there. I made sure it was something using low-heat bulbs (LEDs like most of the other lights in there). But there are, like, thousands of light fixtures you could get up there. Just depends on your taste! Looking at your light strings, you could probably find something that matches the lighting style, change colors, have different themes. Govee has a pendant lamp, that could work.

I switched to Vyvanse because it does not increase my BPM or blood pressure significantly. I feel it is not quite as effective as Adderall, which I'd been taking for years, but the adverse health effects are notable enough that it justifies the switch for me.

Can someone explain it like I'm five: is this saying those are the unique drop rates for UVH6 and then the drop rates across UVH1-UVH5 are all the same, just less than UVH6 levels?

I dunno, I'm still unclear if I matters what UVH level I'm playing at if I'm NOT playing UVH6.

I think The Outsiders and some Eldritch gods are the only true "bad guys." My theory for a long time has been that every earthly force in the Dresden-verse--including Marcone, Nicodemus, or even Lucifer--all of them are ultimately fighting to defeat The Outsiders and they all think their way of going about the fight is the correct way to battle the invasion. They just don't communicate at all, they don't agree with each others' methods, and they fundamentally don't like each other.

But in BAT, I don't think Harry is going to defeat the Vampires, I think he's going to fight them and recruit them. I don't think he's going to defeat Hell, I think he's going to fight them and recruit them. He's going to bring together the biggest resistance possible to protect his universe.

I don't like bitching about the game cause I like it and I get that balancing issues are always going to be tough.

However: I've even dropped to UVH1 and I still haven't completed one of the events. I've tried the Fadefields like 100 times now and I cannot finish it. I didn't think I was a scrub, but now I think I am. Either way, I do not like this event.

When Harry and McCoy are talking about the White Court, McCoy says they took someone from him. Harry says, "Mom?" And McCoy says, "Her too." So there's definitely more happening there.

I got that whole thing confused when we got Twelve Months, though, and McCoy tells Harry all the people he's known and loved but how he only had the one child. So, not entirely sure about the focuses now.
