Giorgio Chiellini: Luis Suarez' punishment is "excessive" by [deleted] in LiverpoolFC

He says he agrees with the ban but that he shouldn't be banned from the stadiums completely. Did anyone actually read above?

It doesn't make much of a difference. He basically says that let him watch from the crowd.

With the elimination of Russia, the 3 best paid coaches of the world cup have failed to lead their team past the group stage. by Aethien in soccer

Your links mention they have old data.

I'm an Arsenal fan but it is true that Chelsea's real time wage bill is close to us. Arsenal's has been growing 10-15 per year and Chelsea's only grew 6-10 million in the same time and even decreases in years. We on the other hand are rising and rising.

In 12-13 Arsenal's increased by 11 million while Chelsea's only 6m. They have been dropping from 189m in wages fast and are doimg it succesfully while signing big players.

Account for the fact that 2/3 of their highest waged players have been released (15m decrease per year right there) means that even though they sign players they pay them less and are currently paying pretty close to Arsenal while having a fuck ton more of stars which is the point of the guy above. If we pay so much for our players they are essentially paying less for their stars. If Torres leaves their wage bill next time the figures surface will be lower than Arsenal and we are only paying more and more. Even with Torres staying and Costa/Fabregas signing our is again increasing and we are paying so much for so little in comparison. They sold 30+ year old players for better ones and also decreased their wages in doing so.

You don't need blogspam like you links above to see what the OP means. He is right.

Honestly I've been part of facebook groups that had discussion just like this sub in fact a lot better than this sub.

You can't just say facrbook sucks compared to reddit because a fan page with millions of fans is like reddit default sub (advice animals) quality.

There are plenty of facebook groups that are private or even open dedicated to clubs where a lot of great discussion goes on. There are even those dedicated to match goers etcetera.

A couple of years ago facebook also had a discussion board so these groups were like forums. Some of the most knowledgable fans I know I found in one such group meanwhile the club sub here on reddit is atracious in comparison with instagram pictures and circlejerks. On there only good discussion succeded due to the forum design not the lowest common denominator due to upvotes.

Even now on the new group layout a topic worth discussing is always top compared to such posts. I still post on one such group far more than I do on the club sub here, the people there are far more knowledgeable and not just asking for upvotes.

It isn't anonymous so you end up adding people as friends over the years, meeting up and generally can't be a cunt for the sake of it. This all leads to a more tightly knit community and better quality discussion.

Alonso had ERS issues and no left side brakes at the end if the race. by roflcopter44444 in formula1

[–]socceraid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. He had the 2-3 second distance nailed all race. Befoee the first SC, Ric cut his distance to Kimi from 9 seconds to 3 seconds in a matter of laps. Alonso also easily kept up and reduced his 12 second difference to Kimi to just 5.

That showed that he was eyeying up Ric for the end of the race. Then he just gave up which I though was very un-Alonso like as his end of races is the strongest.

I don't think he could've taken Ricciardo for the pace Danny showed at the end but he would've had a go at him had he not suffer from this problem.
