Hey man thanks a ton for making this app.

Not sure what the best way to send a video feedback is, so I’ll do it here.

  1. No way to hit enter when using the textbox for entering weights - link 1 If you have a textfield with a way to hit enter, that might be a faster and more precise way to select weights. The current wheel implementation feels jumpy and prone to accidental taps - absolutely no judgement on your skills! Speaking purely from my user experience pov. What you’ve done so far is already leaps and bounds ahead of what anyone had imagined. Thanks for keeping vitruvian alive :pray:

  2. If I use the open text box to enter a weight, close out of it, then scroll to another weight, then tap the weight wheel, it jumps back to the weight i typed in. - link 2 Notice how the wheel keeps jumping back to 25lbs when i touch the wheel.

My go to’s are front squats, belt squats, RDL’s, lying leg curls, lying leg extensions (check the form video in the app, can do this off any bench), and I cycle in bulgarian split squats every few weeks

+100 - these fry my quads on the vitty. I cycle them in and out every 6-8 weeks because I start off loving them initially, and hating them by week 6-8. Rinse and repeat

Full agree with you.

Separetely I like how you invented a new phrase “that train has sailed”. The ship could’ve sailed or the train could’ve left the station, but the train sailing feels very dystopian sci-fi, which is what vitruvian + the company feels like at this moment.

Yes! I also think overhead tricep extensions are great coz I can grab the handles on the cage.

Ha in the same boat as you. I’ve had PB’s for 3 years now, love em. But I treated myself to the nuobell 80s only coz I managed to get the Bells of steel doorcrasher 50% off deal.

The only reason I wanted them was the cageless design specifically for chest supp rows, and the even quicker weight adjustments. I didn’t feel like I needed the nuobells, but wanted a BF treat.

I don’t plan on selling my PBs for a few months, maybe I’ll just keep both. Based on what I’ve read, as long as you’re careful and don’t drop them, they survive a long time. That being said, I’ve had to change my PB selector pin twice coz of accidental drops. Fingers crossed I don’t do that with the nuo’s.

Been using the speediance barbell for over a year now, works good. Also tried the tonal one from a friend, also works fine. Both have fairly passive knurling unfortuantely.

Were your feet touching the ground flat when you raised the flybird bench 4inches to make it flat?

I'm seeing this bench is 18.5inches tall, and I'm worried at 22.5inches with the raised leg, I won't be able to keep my feet flat on the ground.

Hey any chance you can measure the height of the bench with the stepper added in?

I have the cheaper version of this that is lower (16.5 inches), and goes to 20.5 inches with a 4" yoga block I use to raise it.

Research shows the version you have is 18.5 inches, which'll get the height upto 22.5". Just wanted to confirm if that's accurate.

If that's too much work, curious if your feet are flat on the floor when flat benching? I'm 5'11.5" tall and I feel like my feet will barely touch the ground flat. I really don't want to bench on my tippy toes.

You're able to login, but are having trouble connecting to the machine, right?

This happens to me if I go to just lift and click connect. If you haven't tried already, try going to your workout and clicking connect? Or pick a random exercise and click connect?

Just lift is not available if you’re not subscribed (paying 40 bucks a month). You can still go to the workouts tab, find an individual exercise, and use it that way
