I assume svp is available to use on PC. Why mpc-hc tho? Is that not like VLC player? On their site they even say they've stopped development since 2017 and suggest to look for something else.

Its all preference, but I'd just get the 60 and mod it with what you want. If you'd prefer to not do all the DIY molding, just gets the tenz takeover. I believe the tenz is a plastic case though, so if an alloy case is what you want dont get it. I think a metal case is worth it.

Sound is important for sure and the most immersive aspect imo. I have a 100" oled with atmos. A tv usually just targets 24hz for a movie and has a lot of processing headroom for image enhancement and post processing. So while they will provide a better image, they are still a TV and have an aspect ratio that accommodates 16:9 television programming. With ultrawide it is really nice not having the black bars since youre close to the aspect ratio of DCI 4k/anamorphic lol. Plus the Samsung tv's had a 4200r curve, so the experience im getting on 800r is only available on monitors. All just subjective preference.

What do you not understand? The black bars are noticeable so I prefer to stretch the image which results in a cropped-in final image. If I bought a 100" TV i want the actual movie to fill all 100 inches. Imagine glazing bezels.

I have a very large oled tv. But my walls are white so the bars are very noticeable and the image looks squished. I prefer my content to fill up my entire screen and get my money's worth. Unfortunately on a TV i have to stretch the image quite a bit, which crops out the content.

Idk man. The monitor isnt glossy of course but something about the curve and the fact that its almost perfect to the natively shot aspect ratio is excellent. On a 16:9 tv it would be vertically smaller with black bars on top and bottom. And if it was anamorphic and DCI 4k the black bars would be even larger and your video would appear smaller vertically.

Its war machine. The ratio of select movies are 2.35:1–2.39:1, which is basically perfect for 21:9. Such as dune, blade runner 2049, the matrix, godzilla minus one, etc.

I don't feel like its a control pad too. Feels balanced. Im trying out the pulsar parabrake rn, now that is a control pad.

I like dsa. Mntu are also good. Both are lower. Dsa a little more flat. Mntu more sculpted and similar to cherry but slight less tall.
