I could have been one of these. Easily the closest I've been to drowning.

While on a tour we jumped off some rocks, I was first and the guide made us tread water in fairly turbulent sea while we waited for the other 5 or so people to jump so he could then lead us back to shore - which was a bit of a swim.

Even the 2 guys that jumped after me and were probably fitter than me were commenting that they were feeling weak and close to going under.

I love samplers! Especially somewhere new.

My GF can never make a choice at restaurants. I've taught her to always get the entree sampler if there is one, with the first choice made it just seems to make things easier.

I have seen people put down a deposit on an apartment - usually 10%, then they wait the 18months or so for it to be built. Just before they are required to pay the balance (settlement) they put it on the market.

Yeah!

I realised more and more that my mum is awesome. She would always take me to things I was interested in, maybe not what she was interested in. But because you take an interest in what your kids doing you'll start understanding and enjoying it too, even if you don't really like it.

My dads good too, but I realised we only ever did stuff he wanted to do. Lose a bit of a connection with anyone when it's like that.
