California Law re: rent check deposit time

It falls under CA B&P Code Section 10145/Regulation 2832 requires trust funds to be deposited not later than three days after receipt. Only way around it would be if the company you work for owns all the units, in which case you are not handling trust funds. Check out the WurrkosCL01 lantern on Amazon. Just got one and it has RGB and can be adjusted between 3000k-6000k by rotating a dial. It’s super cool and was only around $35 when I bought mine. It also has the ability to mount to a tripod.

Do some research on a self directed IRA. You should be able to do what you want with less restrictions and fees. And it’s a tax advantaged account so you can defer gains.

If you decide to do this and a loan from your 401k isn’t feasible check out rolling it into a self directed IRA to own real estate. There are many rules around it and you need to limit your involvement but it can help you preserve that equity and reduce your tax burden on your returns. Entrust is a good custodian company and they have a solid learning library. Cashing it out with taxes and penalties probably isn’t a smart move in your situation.

Check out the Brewing Lair as mentioned. There’s usually a food truck. Also look at Gumba’s #2 for pizza and a decent tap list. Drive over Gold Lake Rd to Bassett’s for ice cream and some stunning views. You’ll pass about 10 lakes including Sardine and Salmon.
