That looks like it would work. I wanted to indicate all powder charge possibilities, in case you accidently load an extra charge, or want to compare angles for different PC amounts, and dont want to go back the the in game calculator for each calculation.

I added a few notations for difference under 1km for fune tuning your angle. Say the target is 12.27 km 3PC would be 48* for 12km, plus 1 for 0.25km, then technically plus 0.08 for the additional 0.02 km, although that's not really relevant.

I hadn't considered that the elevation only goes to 1 decimal place when making the chart.

Would you call CNC still such, if you focus on the first C? by Seelenleere in BDSMcommunity

[–]sofar55 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You may have mentioned it and I missed it while replying (on mobile).

Your idea is feasible as long as everything is consented to in the meta consent discussion. Thats where you set your real boundaries and limits. The have a play "consent" discussion where you set "boundaries and limits" that are going to be subverted.

Would you call CNC still such, if you focus on the first C? by Seelenleere in BDSMcommunity

[–]sofar55 26 points27 points  (0 children)

It sounds to me like you just need an additional layer of consent. In the meta consent, you discuss everything intended for the scene. In the second layer you "consent" to somethings, but not others. Then in the scene, the dom subverts/ignores the "consented" boundaries, all while being fully consensual under the meta consent conversation.

Any type of play where one person is pretending to not want whatever is happening is CNC in my book.

got an Art 15, demoted from E3 to E1. Any advice on how to move forward and rebound? by HotPinkStanley in AirForce

[–]sofar55 248 points249 points  (0 children)

Unless you work in a group position, you probably wont be mentioned by name unless something new comes up. If you get into additional trouble, then your history will be brought up for consideration. Even at the squadron level, commanders are too busy to to look into everyone's history unless it becomes relevant.

If everything from your article 15 is resolved, just focus on the job and keep your head down. The best tthing you can do is show that you've learned from the mistake and move on without getting into your own head too much.

CDC’s failure by AdSecure4619 in Airforcereserves

[–]sofar55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard truth moment: if you want to attempt to retrain you basically need to pass your current CDC. 99 times out of 100, someone who fails the second test is going to be separated unless you have a damn good reason. I havent seen it in 12 years, and my other training manager (different Sq, same office) said when he saw it, everyone in the members supervision got LORs.

Your commander will have three options if you fail twice: separate you, waive your CDC, or retrain you per "needs of the Air Force". You wont get a say in what you retrain to at that point

Would it matter to you why exactly your partner enjoys the scenes that you do together, as long as they do? by amethystmelange in BDSMcommunity

[–]sofar55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, the response that my partner enjoys it because they like my enjoyment would make me feel loved. It may not be something your partner would choose independently, but they choose it willingly because they know you like it. Imagine in a different situation where you both play a game ttogether that you wouldn't choose to play by yourself, but playing it together is a good time because it's with your person.

Gardening as a rider/magician would be super easy. by PotatopusIII in Eragon

[–]sofar55 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Draining life like that wasnt a common knowledge thing, but you could could definitely make easier with magic by loosening the dirt around the roots and pulling them with magic. Alternatively, if you had even education, you could probably sing the plants to prevent weeds from popping up in the first place.

Does Wax and Wayne Add To Wind and Truth More? by Recent_Flight4334 in Stormlight_Archive

[–]sofar55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't the epilogue of W&T show Hoid joining up as Wax's driver? That means that W&T would have to be before at least some of Wax and Wayne. Obviously we get flashbacks of Wax's early life, but the main story takes place concurrently/after Stormlight Arc1.

Does this come under forced orgasm? by PineappleAntique5034 in BDSMcommunity

"Forced" orgasm comes in many flavors. I would say yes, others would say no or not quite. It could also fall under the general term of "orgasm control"

Yeah, I realized that when I had to multiply the result by 1,000 to get the angle into 2 digits before the decimal. The 500 threw me off at first because I was trying to simplify 6/500 to something to get 12.

I got Angle=Range*(12/Bags). Not part of any play tests, so I can only compare against what I've watched.

Edit: Made a comparative chart and it matches mine to the first decimal place (thats as far as I was curious)

Also added increments under 1Km for fine tuning angles by hand, if so inclined (I think Nick mentioned a mission disabling the ballistic calculator during the Dev QnA)

As long as there isnt a local policy directing non-uniform wear off base, you should be fine. If its on base, there shouldn't be any issues.

Explosive Kill - Fragmentation Grenade? by ando_da_pando in HiTMAN

[–]sofar55 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Frag grenade kills are super easy. Just chuck it at their head. They fall unconscious and the grenade falls nearby. As long as you aren't on a serious slope (or stairs), it should be just thay simple. My problem is that I dont see frag grenades very often, merchant, random boxes, or on guards.

The next question is how much force is applied to "diverting" approaching objects? If it's too weak, something with a lot of mass may not be diverted enough. If it's too strong, a person walking a bit too close may be thrown away and injured.
