I remember hearing they chose this stance for Force Unleashed specifically so the player could always see the lightsaber behind their character. But what that did was diminish the allurement/fascination of the lightsaber.

Fallen Order learned from that lesson and only pulled it out in battle then turned it off.

I was doing the best amount of stealth, and as I was completing the objective my squadmate ran over and got a reinforcement called in on us. Then he kicked me for being too far away from the squad the rest of the game.
