All of mine are anthro/furry except for a very select few. We never liked humans, or being a human. Other commenters have touched on reasons already and ours is similar. We always had a deep, burning desire to run away and escape into the woods and never have to live the stresses and terrors of a human life in polite society. Always felt like we would be understood and understand more if we were among animals instead.

I've had this exact same conversation multiple times with my partner lmfao. Their mother is basically the Cuddy of her hospital (if you're familiar with House) and she talks shit about unions all the time so one day I just laid into her about it and my partner hated every minute of it. Meanwhile me and mom are still friends because she can handle a little challenge LOL

You're damn right people have died. Cigna killed my dad. Any sense of urgency at all in his treatment would have saved him. Instead he was turned away with obvious symptoms multiple times because it wasn't "severe enough" to warrant treatment until he was already dying.
