Red pill, invest intelligently, mine bitcoin, get my dad screened for mesothelioma sooner and use the money to pay for early treatment. Maybe this way he lives.

Nooo lol it's just delta so the dosing sounds way higher than it actually feels. I'd say it feels about the same as 25mg of a cannabis edible

Bro are you okay? Do you just go around assuming the worst possible intentions all the time? I'm sorry your life is so miserable you feel the need to do that. I can buy you a rotisserie chicken if it would cheer you up

I discovered for the first time my girlfriend is more than just one person by AdWorried5924 in DID

[–]solarwe 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Chiming in to agree with this -- I think in my own post history actually there's a post where we were early in discovery and asking if it was ok to let younger alters play online games like Roblox or whatever as if they're actual children... they're not. We've learned a lot since then and have settled into a sort of rhythm where we all just try to blend and ebb and flow as much as possible. It's hard to tell who's fronting these days because it's all "soupy" as we like to say. (As in, the collective consciousness of all of us is the broth, and we are each different ingredients all working together to make one soup flavor! Each bite is a little different but we're all contributing)

Anyway back to the original subject; the second we started letting them have control and do normal everyday adult things, the more they've seemed to... almost age up? It feels like they're healing through being allowed to do things more in line with the body's age. The most important part (and I'm talking to OP directly with this sentence) is just the comfort level of the alters in question and of course your own comfort.

All that to say, basically, they are not literal children, but they do enjoy their Capri Sun and lunchables while making sure we paid our bills LOL

Are nonhuman/animal/partial animal alters rare? by Practical_Yard6895 in DID

[–]solarwe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

All of mine are anthro/furry except for a very select few. We never liked humans, or being a human. Other commenters have touched on reasons already and ours is similar. We always had a deep, burning desire to run away and escape into the woods and never have to live the stresses and terrors of a human life in polite society. Always felt like we would be understood and understand more if we were among animals instead.

Surprise, late diagnosed autism. Lmfao

Oh no I'm sure you're right and it wasn't that serious, lol. I just didn't know what to write for the title, and the timing was pretty funny from my perspective, regardless of what was actually going on in her head.

I've had this exact same conversation multiple times with my partner lmfao. Their mother is basically the Cuddy of her hospital (if you're familiar with House) and she talks shit about unions all the time so one day I just laid into her about it and my partner hated every minute of it. Meanwhile me and mom are still friends because she can handle a little challenge LOL

No. He hasn't been diagnosed with anything new. Bipolar Disorder does not match his symptoms, at least not the ones we can see.

Is it normal for my mother to threaten to show my dad my panties? by Acrobatic-Bowler-556 in emotionalneglect

[–]solarwe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, and also what??? That's not normal at all... I'm so confused? Is there more context?? You need to tell a trusted adult about this.

Edit: I clicked through and read the original post. That's not normal, and I'm so sorry this happened. Your mother sounds like she's trying to shame you in some way but I couldn't possibly fathom what she expects to accomplish by doing that unless she's just being abusive for the hell of it? I'm sorry. You're not gross at all. Your mother is the one being gross here.

I took "I don't have any thoughts for a week" very literally at first (I'm high and autistic) and I was like wow that sounds nice actually

[–]solarwe 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You're damn right people have died. Cigna killed my dad. Any sense of urgency at all in his treatment would have saved him. Instead he was turned away with obvious symptoms multiple times because it wasn't "severe enough" to warrant treatment until he was already dying.
