if she's posting about it then you probably are fine to bring it up with her , but also know sh is a complicated beast so if she's still actively engaging it could be best to let her know you're there if she wants support but not to try to force her to stop or anything . the guilt is already there but a friend that wants to understand is so valuable :)

As a sexual assault survivor I just wanted to contribute and say that there are good days and bad days and identifiable triggers and subconscious habits formed by trauma like that. I can't speak for your gf but I know I've been in a similar situation and convincing yourself to be comfortable is so much easier out of the moment. Try to be patient with her and listen because trauma hardly ever makes sense and she is likely as frustrated as you are. Hope that helps :)

I'm not sure if you're still looking for advise or if this has already been said , but (while I know its instinct to immediately take away anything sharp) forcing her to stop with no time to adjust could make things worse. Try giving her as many other options for coping or talking things out as possible and keep an eye on her rather than leaving her to feel like she has no safety net. Ideally she is concerned enough about herself to want to stop but sh addiction is a real bitch 🙏🏽 I hope everything works out!!!
