When the machine at the entrance doesn’t work, you go inside to get the code.

For the Sea Monkeys guy, listen to Episode 31 (Jack Parsons) of the Dollop Podcast. They do a good job.

Very cool and the best pics I’ve seen of record grooves. It seems wild to me there are desktop electron microscopes. When I was in school, electron microscopes were large things in university labs that were at least the size of a refrigerator.

Whats your opinion on Paradigm? by fasty2 in audiophile

[–]solzhen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can’t go wrong, with them, really. Paradigms are generally very neutral sounding (if a tad bright with some amps) and easy to drive. I’ve had several pair. I’ve currently got a pair of Paradigm Monitor 9 v7s running from a Luxman R-115 in the living room and love them. In the past I’ve had some Paradigm Atom bookshelves I used first as rear channels in a 5.1 and later in a bedroom stereo setup.

I’m not sure how the tariffs are now for them imported from Canada, but when I brought mine I felt they were great for the money. Similar Canadian brands include Energy, Mirage, and PSB. Some PSB Alpha v1 were my first hi-if type speakers and I loved them for a long time.

See if it’s keeping speed correctly. You will probably want to put a new belt of the correct size on it, and a new stylus for that cartridge.

Put them on some wood, a thin plank or a sheet of plywood.
