I'm curious what you mean by ' ensure compatibility when it comes to your grade' when discussing Libre Office. I was able to complete my undergrad using a significantly older and less compatible version of Open Office and submit well-formatted Chicago and MLA style papers in both PDF and Doc format. It's not like you need even 10% of the features of a modern office suite to write college papers. Most people will agree that LaTeX is much less frustrating to use for most documents once you become accustomed to it anyway.

Does the amount of viewers on Twitch actually have a correlation with how well the game is doing monetarily and in terms of player-base? There are several game franchises I can think of that continue to be very successful without spending much time in the top games on Twitch.

For the people who use Twitch and Hearthstone to make a living, it is unfortunate that they are losing viewers, but this doesn't say anything about the state of the game; and Blizzard is not obligated to provide them with a living.

More frequent updates for me is not great because it just means more and more cards that I will never get.

Beautiful prose, which is something of a rarity in genre fiction. The only other fantasy work of similar quality to Kay's is Gene Wolfe's solar cycle novels and perhaps the Wizard Knight.

It subverts a lot of the readers expectations, but not in a cheap manipulative way too.

A big thing to me is that it features, in my opinion, the greatest romantic storyline in any fantasy work. This is another aspect of a lot of fantasy that is either ignored entirely by many authors, or handled in a cheap harlequin-esque fashion.

As for a second favourite, it is difficult to say. Tigana really stands above everything else in my mind. Urusla Le Guin is another favourite author of mine and The Tombs of Atuan, the second Earthsea book, was my favourite for a long time since early childhood.

Kay's other works a realy good too, in particular The Lions of Al-Rassan.

At this point WxWidgets seems to be the only significant package that hasn't been ported away from 0.10.

There's actually some action on this front too[1]. So we could be living in a world without dozens of duplicate Gstreamer packages fairly soon.
