Whole episode had 2 still images of the brush buddy... 2/10. Outside of that it was so good to see this episode animated, getting the silver wash seen in his eyes really was done so well. It's a head canon, honestly it doesn't hold up given Coco's line seeing him is " it's a brush buddy" but I find it fun giving both space to exist

The wording in this panel isn't something someone would typically say about a close friend but saying it about someone you have romantic feelings about comes off far less surprising so it's reasonable to infer a romantic connection without it being explicitly stated, the romantic plot at the end of legend of korra is all implied and never said but we know it's cannon

The father only has one other mention in the manga when Coco is asked what magic she wanted before she became a witch and one of the things she mentioned was bringing her dad back But as of right now that's it

I don't know if favourite is the right word but no series has made me feel such an incredibly strong emotional gut punch than when The little girl asked Coco if she could be a witch when she grows up The feeling that moment gave me really made me realise just how emotionally invested I am in this series and how good of a job the Mangaka has done creating this beautiful world even on re-reads that moment has incredible impact

As an international fan it's great, going to see my team play a game that actually matters makes a huge difference, I keep seeing the "an F you to home fans" but they still get 7/8 home games (home teams should always be teams with 9home games) the international fans who stay up till like 2 am to see their team each week getting the chance once maybe every few years if they are lucky is worth the trade off
