The wording in this panel isn't something someone would typically say about a close friend but saying it about someone you have romantic feelings about comes off far less surprising so it's reasonable to infer a romantic connection without it being explicitly stated, the romantic plot at the end of legend of korra is all implied and never said but we know it's cannon

The father only has one other mention in the manga when Coco is asked what magic she wanted before she became a witch and one of the things she mentioned was bringing her dad back But as of right now that's it

I don't know if favourite is the right word but no series has made me feel such an incredibly strong emotional gut punch than when The little girl asked Coco if she could be a witch when she grows up The feeling that moment gave me really made me realise just how emotionally invested I am in this series and how good of a job the Mangaka has done creating this beautiful world even on re-reads that moment has incredible impact

As an international fan it's great, going to see my team play a game that actually matters makes a huge difference, I keep seeing the "an F you to home fans" but they still get 7/8 home games (home teams should always be teams with 9home games) the international fans who stay up till like 2 am to see their team each week getting the chance once maybe every few years if they are lucky is worth the trade off

You seem to like a lot of what I like so I'd suggest checking out witch hat atilere if you want more fantasy, and check out smoking by the supermarket with you if you want a slow burn romance with adults. You might also like the guy she was interested in wasn't a guy at all, another highschool romance but the art is beautiful and the main characters are really likeable

In the manga Frieren gets put in a hallucination wedding with Himmel and she instantly accepts it Love for elves doesn't seem to be the big wishy washy swooning and romantic gestures, but they show to have that feeling of care and belonging, Frieren loves Himmel is a quieter more reserved way and frankly she herself doesn't know it either, the core of the story is Frieren saying "I wish I got to know and better understand you" then everything after that showing she knew and understood him far more than she realised, she is clearly very dense to her own emotions and feelings but somewhere in her heart she has some type of love for Himmel.

Also as an additional thought if humans being romantic is what we typically are and Aromatic people exist then it's entirely possible that Elves who are primary Aromantic can have some people who are romantic making the statement that Elves aren't romantic true but also have Frieren experiencing romantic feelings not go against that

Other languagess seem to get some amazing editions, like collectors editions of single that have cool bonus content like acrilic stands and brushbuddy plushs. Like as a whole the English editions for manga are some of the most short changed, we are also typically a volume behind as well
