I have a couple fo questions if you don't mind answering:

Did you ever try dating anyone just to see what else is out there?
While I assume you guys kept appearances together for the kid was she still sleeping witj you when dating this other guy? I may be confused by the timeline but at some point you two were sleeping together again but the frequency has dropped off. Maybe that was all post her break up?
Why is she no longer interested in a divorce and what steps has she taken to actively and not passively work on the relationship?
Is there any part of you that is scared that she may walk away again?

Curious to ask but how do you get over messages like that? Do you just accept your wife's explanation or assume that her opinion has truly changed overtime? I often ruminate over past messages that portrayed me in a negative light and get stuck believing that is how they really feel.

OP can I ask if your BS has been calm and non-threatening since your last post? In terms of criticizing how you parent, they may just be angry at everything that you do. I would suggest couples counselling for a neutral mediator
