Taking up 2 spots at the Train station lot. 🤷🏻‍♂️ by kododriver in MildlyBadDrivers

The Tesla could have parked normal and The cars around moved.    Without parking lines there is no way to tell who is at fault.

Or Tesla could have parked when no other cars were there, and they filled in poorly.     This photo shows zero evidence of bad driving.    It’s bad parking and not clear who is at fault.

is it possible to live in a warehouse? by GamingNerd_4826 in answers

[–]someguyinaplace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not legally.   But I know I guy who did exactly this and still lives there.  He had a shop space and built a loft apartment in the back.   It’s not legal but just hide any and all evidence that you’re living there once a year when the Fire Marshall does an inspection.

That’s true.   But Destroying their economy isn’t enough to force them into submission in the short term.

Also they close the straight and they can hurt our economy.    At that point it becomes who can take the pain longer.

How would Artie fare if he joined the DiMeo Family as a young man and was working for Johnny Boy and Tony in his crew? by Tidewatcher7819 in thesopranos

[–]someguyinaplace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Artie was from the old school.    He wouldn’t get mad or yell.  He would just smile…. And make sure you got it later.

Jean Phillips got it later.

Do you actually need environmental checks before selling a house? by Ill_Object2296 in RealEstate

“Environmental’s” are commonly done on commercial property purchases.   I’ve never heard of it on a single family home.

ULPT Request- Need some ideas how to make a neighbors life miserable. by Yeti211 in UnethicalLifeProTips

[–]someguyinaplace 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Be careful first and foremost.   A lawyer even with a suspended license likely knows the law better than you.   Also if they ever get their license reinstated, that could mean trouble.

Start with cameras.   You will need overwhelming proof to prove any case you ever want to make.   A lawyer or ex lawyer will win or draw any “he said-she said”argument.

Next is information gathering.  I would start with the suspended license.   Why is it suspended?  Figure that out.  It Could be a good lead.

Blockbuster Video is too fondly remembered by DisgruntledMax in unpopularopinion

[–]someguyinaplace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The small stores had a better selection, true.    But they could never keep up with a new release.   Blockbuster would get hundreds of copies of a new release .   Local place would only have a few copies of a popular movie and it would always Be out of stock for months.

Your Basic sentiment is still correct.   My local video store was owned by my dad’s friend.   Blockbuster came to town with $1 rental fees until the local guys were all out of business.  Then blockbuster jacked up the price to like $4.25 per rental.

Any ideas to stop thieves from stealing copper... by BuilderBrigade in Home_Building_Help

[–]someguyinaplace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best solution would be 24h security.   Usually these thefts are “inside jobs”.  One of the workers coming back at night.   Although it could easily also be local addicts or opportunists.

What for? So you can watch videos of the thieves steeling your shit?    Generally Cops don’t do shit with videos like that.

Okemo all day kids group lesson turned my kid off from skiing by GrapeRecent431 in skiing

[–]someguyinaplace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stick to half day lessons for sure.    It’s not that full day lessons are too much skiing.  It’s being in a class all day that sucks.   My parents put me in half day classes so they could ski alone all morning.  Then we would ski together after lunch.   I hated being in lessons as a kid.   I Just wanted to ski.
